His numbers are going up? He needs to fire his agent.

If this is correct..

then that means Tank does not want to play in Dallas.

This guy has either been suspended or injured more or less his whole career.

Again he is injured with shoulder issues and will not have surgery until he gets paid.

I think Tank and Irvin have been buying their pot from the same source.

He is nuts.

We need to stop playing this game with him and just release him and take his money and pay the guys who want to be here.

This has gone far enough.

He is an embarassment to the team and fans of the team.

Get him Otta here.

Jerrah..

quit trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

He is not your Wardaddy.

He is your worst nightmare if you are actually serious about this season.

I'm becoming more and more convinced each day that maybe we should just trade this guy. Way too much to pay a DE IMO.

So many people in this thread are pissed he wants top dollar were the same people pissed that Irving left money. Y'all some ignorant mofos

Yeah not even close to being the same thing.

And I don't begrudge him for wanting top dollar. I just don't want the Cowboys to pay him top dollar when he's not the same caliber player the top dollar gets.

There is no place in the universe that Lawrence is worth more money than K Mack and/or Von Miller.............................He's not even in that conversation...................Trade him ; he's being completely unreasonable and delusional.....................

It is not as big a savings as advertised

Players still have to pay State and Local taxes in the cities they play on the road

Their tax returns must be a bear

Agree, but at least half your games are State tax free. That was at an average of 6% and California tax rate is over 13% and a lot of others are near 10% so it is close to 1 million depending where your games are.

I absolutely support players wanting more money. They should seek top dollar and not take bargains on behalf of the team or the city or whatever other bs fans try to lord over them.

That being said, you still have to be realistic. Lawrence is not the best DE in the NFL and shouldn't be paid like one

He is top 3, young, and has his best football ahead of him.

Yes, it is a lot of money, but I have no doubt he'll produce.

You're one if the few rational people here. Most of these other guys would be pissed either way.
