only 2M in 2019. if he flourishes the eagles extend him...if not, it cost them the equiv of a 7th rounder this year. Low risk, high reward. I still see them taking a RB in first two rounds.

JAG running backs are pretty cheap.

As I said in my other post, I like CJ Anderson better and he’s still available.

Glad the Eagles didn’t get him and we had to face him twice a year.

I like CJ as well and agree. But Howard did have 9 TD's the past 2 seasons and rushed for over 2k yards combined. Just thought he would net more than a 6th rounder.

He did nothing last year. Was just a guy.

He did have 9 TDs but with 250 carries and a 3.7 average it was pretty mediocre.

And it’s one year of him or pay him
It’s not a bad deal but not really a steal

Howard is no Elliott.

Just saw this. I won't lie, it's a good trade, a steal. Why would they trade Howard?? That guy is a beast.

He can't caught a cold in the rain and he has been steadily declining in Chicago every year since his rookie reason. He was abysmal last season and became expendable.

I think Cohen's pass catching abilities fit their offense better.

I wonder if CHI figures if they found Howard in the 5th, they can find another good RB again in the middle rounds; a RB that can compliment Cohen.(like how Ingram complimented Kamara) (not saying cohen = kamara... y'know what i mean)
