For all the criticism Dak Prescott gets

8.8. To me is actually an achievement how many teams go to the Superbowl and not heard from again for two or three more seasons to be average and as long as we were. People won't like it because they want rings but that was a huge achievement. Every single game we had an opportunity to win.

First of all I don't recall praising Prescott. But I'm not slamming him either. Like I said I see his shortcomings and I see his growth. Yes this things he needs to work on. But you can teach that Kurt if I thought he was on teachable or didn't have it that would be a different story. The kid has everything it takes to be a winner in this league
Dak actually is a winner:

2016: 13-3
2017: 9-7
2018: 10-6

Just like Romo's 6-10 2010 season and back-to-back-to-back 8-8 season records right after?
Pretty much.. not sure why fans are any more excited about Dak than they were Romo?

Basically without this Elite surrounding talent we are a .500 team at best with Dak. Which is most likely our future moving forward.

If we had a greater FO and coaching staff we would have figured out how to win a championship with our 2 Rookie sensations before their 2nd contracts came up.

Without a doubt and he just keeps getting better. I don't expect greatness from any Young quarterback. Is always expectations of greatness but it's not realistic. Yes you always have your freak of Nature's. Your exception. But we're not in that situation. This team can go to a Superbowl. Stay healthy minimal distractions.

I'm excited because this is a new team a new design youth. I'm not any more excited or less than the old system. Maybe that's what you're misunderstanding from me.

But it has the same leadership which wasn’t able to win more with Romo. Why do we expect them to have more success with Dak?

I thought the measurement of winning is in January?

Romo started his 1st 4 full seasons 13-3, 9-7, 8-8, 11-5 and no one cared without more playoff success. I said that myself some people all they care about is rings. Super Bowls are great. But there's a lot more to this game of football and winning that ring. Should I say shallow LOL

Because this is not the same coaching staff. It may be the same head coach but there's many different position coaches. I remember watching his game against the Giants. To receive is on the right hand side crossed. I defended didn't know what to do. The Giants pull the same play on the Patriots the week following. Patriots defended it perfectly their Corners waited for the receivers to enter the area and that's how they covered them. Kris Richard. I finally saw him make the play work perfectly defense. I know my spelling sucks I have nerve damage in my hands from the military I use speaking text and it sucks

Do you know how many first round draft picks Jerry Jones gave away to help this franchise out wide receiver Roy Williams Terry Glenn. William McClay is making a huge difference with this franchise. We have football players everywhere just not hear and ther their like Tony had. It's a totally different situation. I love what's happening right now. I feel bad Tony didn't have this group. No way am I disrespecting Tony. The man was a warrior I think it was a Monday night game. The commentator said everybody standing around watching DeMarcus Ware. That's what Tony had to put up. Receivers don't take plays off their all watching they all know they have an opportunity On Any Given plate to catch the football. You know how many receivers weren't even waiting for watching for the football when Tony was out there. I'm ever Patrick Crayton dropping the ball because he wasn't looking for it. This is a new wide receiving coach also I believe

All I know is I no longer have expectations of failure when something goes a little bit backwards. Youngest starting team in the league third-youngest overall I can only imagine how good we will be when we get experience. If we can keep everyone intact. I don't know what's going to happen with the posturing of Demarcus Lawrence. I'm glad we signed the kid from Miami. Almost every player in this league is replaceable. You have your exceptions obviously the goat

So many people disagree with me for this next statement. Jerry Jones has not made a football decision in the last 3 Seasons. Yes Jerry Jones May okay the decisions but he's not the one implementing them any longer William Maclay Steven and Jason that's who I'm giving credit. Jerry is a guy I blame for Tony's failures

I think you meant Joey Galloway, not Terry Glenn with regards to giving aways 1st round picks.

You’re of course more than willing to believe Jerry’s not making any decisions but there’s several decisions which have his name written all over them.

Jerry has always made better overall decisions when he’s had greater HC influence helping him build like with Jimmy and Bill.

Remember what Parcells said” you have to convince Jerry to go against his instincts”.

I don't know why my mind must be going don't get old. It's embarrassing also. So I appreciate your not jumping down my throat. LOL was there a third wide receiver we traded for also over the years during the Tony Romo era

I don't think Jerry has those College contacts he once had. I just don't think he's with that group any longer. I truly believe it's William McClay but does all the leg work
