Winning games is fine. It makes for a tolerable 16 game season with occasional gravy to boot.

But if you want championships a HOF caliber prolific passing QB is what this offense needs to take us to the next level.

There’s enough elite surrounding support to win games . A QB with talent level of our WR and RB we become SB contenders. Without that .. it’s going to be more of a struggle.

What were you critical of Romo for back in the day!

This team has enough talent that with an Elite passing QB we are serious contenders for Super Bowl.

Dak has some game he’s just not one of the better passers. It’s makes life tougher.

Imagine this offense with a Brees or Rodgers. Or a Goff or Mahomes.

This team is the best it’s been on paper arguably since 1993. Don’t try to make it worse to fit an agenda

Dak isn't even in the top ten, barely in the top twenty as far as QB's go in this league.....He isn't even Trent Dilfer but I guess that's how you hope Dallas wins a Superbowl......with a number one defense then!!....

I have to see a lot more than what I've seen so far from Dak before I hand him a massive deal that could cripple the franchise if he isn't the end all be all some of you think he is....

With Cooper on board he played elite despite a garbage OL last year.

Meh, I'd say he's solidly in the Top 20. 15th in yards, 16th in TDs, 6th in INTs (> 400 attempts), 1st in rushing TDs (> 400 passing attempts), 2nd most game-winning drives.

I won't argue with Top 10, but he's easily a Top 20 QB. Likely just outside of the Top 10.

Because he has enough talent around him to win some games?

What some fans don’t understand is a prolific passer in our offense elevates this team to more serious contenders.

Not sure why we’re so big on a middle of the pack passing QB and below average passing offense that need a Pro Bowl OL , WR1 and league leading rusher to have those numbers.

A prolific passing QB elevates this offense to top 10 which with a top 10 defense we are much more serious contender. As it is we are in the lower level of playoff teams and will be tough to reach the next level without a prolific passing QB.

You fail to mention better coaching, better playbook ,play design, play calling, blocking schemes etc, all those things can hamper or help
a qb and team.
