Nope. We have issues if this guy sees the field. If he beats out Connor, then that is an indictment on last year's pick. Hill will probably only play 60% or so of the snaps, too.
Why does he need to start this year?

You short sighted fans have no clue how to run a franchise. When you look at needs you go two years out, not one.

False. No one can play every single OL position at the NFL level. It's also an indictment on a player when you tell me they are versatile and can play so many positions. This isn't low level high school football where players play all types of positions. Give me a guy who plays one position very well, not a guy who is below average at several.
Yup. Everytime I hear versatile my mind translates it to trash

Actual plenty of guys can play several positions on the OL......most pros CAN do it

Williams can't play guard to save his life and we are set at starting tackle. Not sure I see another spot for him this year
If you think we’re set at starting OT, meaning RT especially, then I’m just floored. LC totally blows at RT.

As someone in here already pointed out, Larry Allen played tackle and guard... last I checked he was pretty good. Sure he couldn't snap the ball but whatever.

yeah I laugh when I hear people say he's so good he can play anywhere along the offensive line, sorry but offensive linemen are NOT interchangable at this level, and when you have one that is the best at his position in the league, you don't move him, that's ridiculous talk that this organization does far too much...
There’s always the few that can .. at least that’s what Larry Allen says

I mean they should have put LC at guard last year and put connor at RT. I think a majority of ppl called for that move

LC is solid at RT, but he's a UFA after 2019. He's going to leave Dallas for $$$.

See if you can get a sucker to give us a 4th rounder for Collins tomorrow.

Another not so glamours pick for the arm chair fans but a great player in the 3rd rd. He will help this team this year.

Has Dallas ever not drafted a great player in your eyes?

What did you think of the Hill pick?

We now have 8 linemen (Smith, Williams, Frederick, Martin, Collins, Looney, Fleming, Su’a filo) with significant starting experience and have just added a 3rd round pick.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but it’s a good player. We should consider trading Joe Looney in week 3-4 when a centre goes down.

I think that’s the consensus. McGovern is a quality prospect but an odd and surprising move. Especially since it’s been reported that tonight was the first contact we had with him in months.

Yes we need to upgrade at the safety position. Our pass defense has been average at best and we are consistently bottom of the league every year in ints. Rather than take depth guys.
They may have him pegged as a starter. We do need a safety.
