Why should Garrett be kept in a championship season?

Because he’s a significant part of their success and it’s stupid to scapegoat a coach when coaching has not been the problem?

Are you kidding? "Coaching" is the excuse for every problem...unless we're talking about Dak or Jeff Heath. They just "suck".

What success are we talking about? Participation award type of 21st century success or playoff success like the Patriots? What success are we looking at here?

If we have success, does Garrett, the coach not get any credit?

Granted, he's made some bone-headed in-game decisions, I really don't think that's his strength at all anyways.

I my eyes you keep coaches that have their hands on things. You keep the BB and McVeys, you dont keep the Garrett's who stand on the sideline, clap and make absolutely zero impact on a season.

Why should Garrett stay if the coordinators and players were the real reason of any success? That is like taking credit for someone elses work.

Once the owner tells you to just stand there, put your hands on nothing, and become a motivational puppet, you are a complete joke now.

I will never consider Garrett a SB winning coach even if it does happen. I am not naive enough to believe he would win anywhere else if such a situation acurred.

How do most fans not consider Barry Switzer a SB winning coach but would consider Garrett one!

""In such a situation""
In other words you have a pre determined opinion regardless the results of the team. That’s exactly the type of evaluation process we’re looking for. Lol

“ I will never consider Garrett a SB Championship HC even if it does happen”. That’s as blatant agenda as I’ve seen. Lol

How many threads do you need about this silly agenda? Beginning to look like trolling?

JG is a lame duck HC. Jerry wants Sean Payton and it's going to happen.
Serious question. If this franchise is so awful, why would Sean Payton leave a team that has won their division 2 years in a row and almost went to the Super Bowl?

Read the situation the OP is asking about.

I did. Sounds like the OP would want him gone under any scenario. Can't argue with that. Also, isn't that the OP's opinion? Right or wrong an opinion. Certainly not worth receiving the snide comments that some are laying on him. I would think people can see that, especially "Staff Members".

Except you very much can argue with it, it being completely ridiculous and all.

I don't agree with the OP but your loyalty to JG is disturbing at times. 2 playoff wins in 8 years is on the coaching. It's not all on coaching, but at some point, even you, have to realize that 2 play-off wins in 8 years is at least partly to do with coaching .

I need to be careful. One shall approach discussions with "Staff Members" with great care. I was just pointing out some facts to support the opinion of the OP. Given the little notes that are presented on the bottom of each of your posts - you think the world of Jason Garrett. That's sweet.

Yes, but we have multiple threads now by same OP presenting basically the same opinion.

He’s certainly entitled to his agenda driven opinion. And we are obliged to expose it .

:facepalm: This is kind of fun!

You mean pretending we dont have a coaching problem!?

Well that's a crappy way to live in the land of cowboy fandom.

Are you really? Agenda? This is a football forum. Disagree and/or move on. The OP is frustrated and a non-supporter of the coach. Can't argue with that.

It’s a very complicated situation here in Jerry’s dysfunctional football organization.

Garrett has actually had more success than any other HC in Jerry’s puppet era. While there is some deserved criticism for several Game Day gaffs there is much credit for a better culture and influence with the assembling of talent and moderate success.

Acknowledging we’ve got a pretty good team all-around and not leaping at shadows because everybody else does has worked ok for me over the years.

I enjoy the seasons and have my own preferences for how we should improve the team that include things that actually make more sense. But I understand that’s not for everybody and that we’ll get a lot of the “fire Garrett,” “cut Dak” opinions, too.
