It should be "aggressiveness".anyone else think the mixture of noun and adjective in the title was juuuust a bit unprofessional?
I think it should be accuracy and aggressiveness, but hey, I'm not a professional writer like these guys.
Went back to read the thread. Maybe I did quote the wrong post. What does that have to do with what I said about where he is ranked contract/money wise? I think you may have quoted the wrong post.
All good homieWent back to read the thread. Maybe I did quote the wrong post.
Why do people keep on saying Dak is a young QB with potential? He's now a 4th year player with extensive game time. The steep learning curve is long gone. He's as good as he'll ever be.
Dak finished last season 67.7% in completion. But needs to be above 68%. (needs to be more accurate)
Let's suppose you're right, Prsecott is as good as he's going to get and not worth $30 mil/yr. What's the alternative that gives the team a chance to win the SB? If you let him go, it's unlikely you get a replacement as good and the salary cap savings aren't going to be enough to win with a #20-25 QB unless he just gets hot in the playoffs.
Those same people also think Dak should be in the conversation when comparing elite QBs. But all all the elite QBs they talk about have shown the ability to carry their team and made big plays to win big games. Dak has one of the poorest conversion rate on 3rd and 7+!!!! Yet people want to see him get 30 mil.Why do people keep on saying Dak is a young QB with potential? He's now a 4th year player with extensive game time. The steep learning curve is long gone. Haha! It’s that easy! Similarly skilled on the open market will only cost you about $30 million bucks! There are always options including the following:
1. Pay him the market rate for his skill level - which is a lot less than 30m per year.
2. If there are teams out there who think he's an elite QB worth 30m per year, then we should be able to trade him for 2 x 1st picks. With this, we could trade up and get one of the top QBs in the next draft.
3. Sign a similarly skilled QB at market rate for a non-elite QB and use the saved money to improve the roster elsewhere.
4. Roll the dice with our top pick in next years draft.
We should be continually seeking to upgrade the team rather than settling for second best.
Just tossing this out there. In eleven years Romo was a started on this team he was over 68% 3 times. Not sure that proves squat. But your demand Dak must have 3/10s of a percent more in his completions seems to be a reach.
That's completely false. Romo even said, was after 4 years by the way, that he would practice throwing from different positions so he could...........improve. The fact you think a player is as good as he will ever be after 3 years of playing is laughable.
