Nice thread! I don't think I've seen this before...Then again, my short term memory seems to be slipping - Either that, or I just don't care enough to pay attention to most things. Anyway, while I'm usually a pretty crappy photographer, I've taken a couple I like:

I brought it back from the past, I could have sworn you posted in it but maybe I’m just thinking of the tattoos thread. Like tattoos, I love pics, they tell a story. Mind sharing where/what these are? I dig ‘em :)

The first one is shot while sitting in traffic on the Sunrise Highway, in the Hamptons on Long Island.

The second one is looking at Manhattan, from Astoria, Queens, NY.

The third one is the Bear Mountain Bridge (Purple Heart Memorial Bridge), spanning the Hudson River, shot from just south of West Point, NY.

All shot while sitting in traffic.

Geez, I was thinking it was the NE and NY specifically. I actually hiked Bear Mountain as a kid, absolutely beautiful. Do you live in NY?

I think a lot of people have a misconception of how beautiful NY and the NE really is. There’s more scenic sites within 60 miles of Manhattan than within 200 miles of Dallas (where I live).

I live in CT. I drive a lumber truck, and deliver a lot in NYC, and Upstate NY, Long Island, CT, and MA.

I grew up in Northern NJ, and Jersey is beautiful too. I lived in a log house on a lake, on the edge of a state forest.

Insert expletives...I wish I could trade places with you. I live 10 minutes from “ The Star” and work even closer. Just because I’m a Cowboys fan doesn’t mean I have to like DFW. Place is a dump IMO.

I’d take NYC over DFW any day.
I've never been to DFW, but I've never been to a city I liked, and since NYC is one of the biggest, it's one of the worst. I was in Boston twice, got kicked out the first time, and "requested" never to return.

Lol, I was a history major so I get off on cities like NYC, Philly, DC, etc. All Dallas has is JFK, and to be honest I couldn’t care less about him, he got what was coming to him.
