Ok, not even worth discussing then, Dak over Rodgers all day long, you and maybe 6 other people on the planet think so, but hey, to each his own I guess.

I just found this article to be very interesting. The NFL is too much of a copy cat league, the team should also consider a contrarian viewpoint. Paying 30 million for an average QB is not something any team should be lining up to do. You have to make sure he is the real deal, who can win you the SB. Wilson, Brady, Brees, Rodgers have all taken very average WR's and made them stars. Dak has not and realistically does not have the accuracy or arm talent of those guys. I want to again point out, I am a big fan of Dak.
Please give me a Dak comp who has won a SB over the past 20 years? Eli , Brad Johnson, Dilfer? The long and short of my argument is that Dak is not a franchise QB, hence why pay 30 million a year for a guy who is not a franchise guy. I know this is a bit of a take, but you need to have a take every once in a while.

because you have to look at the alternative to not signing Dak.
How would you replace him? There are no FA that are better than dak, or that would be a franchise qb.

Now drafting one,can you trust the jones boys to draft a good one? Jerry wanted manziel the biggest bust ever, and the year they drafted dak in 4th,
they wanted 2 other guys in earlier rounds, and they both turned out to be busts too.
The other thing is to get a top qb, you have to tank a season to get in the top 3 picks, thats where the top qb prospects will go.

Dak is not great but he is consistent, very durable, has been to playoffs 2 times and won a playoff game, which is more than cousins has done,
he hasnt even made it to playoffs.That is more than wentz and some others supposedly better have done.
So Dak isnt that bad, and unless they want to tank a season and also know a qb they like will be in the draft, they have to keep Dak.

Add to that the jones boys dumped Romo to go with dak, so they have to prove they were right doing that, so they will stick with him.

So saying that Dak isnt worth 30 mil is silly, they have to sign him so he is worth whatever they get him to sign for.
