Pay Dak, he certainly deserves it

LOL. Man up?

So let's show how silly you look right now. You claim I said something in the past, can't provide evidence to support that claim after being asked a few times for the proof (even after suggesting that basically everyone knows the truth, therefore it should be easy to find), then tell someone to "man up" despite the fact you got caught making something up.

We all know except those blinded by their hate like you are.

I am wholly surprised that you would jump into this and back a guy who is making something up despite the fact it also makes you look like a fool.

LOL.

I never said it was Offensive. I said you take it personally and I think if you are honestly with yourself, you will find that it's true.

I don't understand what you need help understanding, in terms of what you are being asked. I would also point out that I've seen nobody on this board suggest that we pay Dak 5 million a year. That's just untrue.

Why do you think that the offer has to be 30 million plus or let him walk? By no means is any of that true. The Cowboys could offer him nothing and just let him play out his contract and then just tag him and there would be nothing that anybody could do about it. There is absolutely no reason to believe that he could or even would, walk if he didn't get 30 million plus.
Because that’s free agency. Guys get more money than the previous free agency class. Jimmy and Cousins got 28 million and Dak is better than both. Wentz got 32 and Dak has a better resume. So Dak’s agent will demand less than those guys? That makes no sense. The highest paid left tackle in the league has never made a pro bowl. Let that sink in:”.

What team is going to pay Dak a long term, 30 mil plus contract? Seriously, which team do you see doing that?
perhaps Jacksonville (but they just paid foles, so not so sure)
, Miami (meh, maybe not they just traded a 2nd round pick for Rosen).
steelers? Roth coming to the end of his career...but they don't normally over pay....
Cinci? they are notoriously cheap
Titans? are they ready to move on from Mariotta...then again he did beat dak in his house
Chargers?...interesting idea.
saints.....brees is got one more year or so....
Lions....are they moving away from Stafford?
Tampa.....that's a probability
why do you call me a hater? why do all dak lovers refer to anyone not in their club as Haters? yes, we care about the same team. we debate. we see things differently. so why label?

Link please....... good luck, coz over 6K posts, I've never used the term. Perhaps you're confusing me with another poster. Name calling and personal attacks have never been part of my posting of 10+ years. Other words, show me and I'll gladly apologize.
ok, you are not a lover.....lover :muttley:

so the offense going 6 minutes in 3 drives in the first half....had nothing to do? so the offense getting total of 26 yards...yes 26 yards in those three drives is not accountable!?...Dak had 16 yards passing on those 3 drives...SIXTEEN....

I mean get freaking 100 yards in 3 drives...not asking for much. just a 100 yards in THREE DRIVES and the game might have been different. score more than 7 points in about 3 quarters and the game might have been different....that was an embarrassing offensive performance...people focus on run defense but ignore how horrible that offense was...Dak went 1-9 on 3rd down conversions....is that the run defense too? convert 3-9 and things are different....the "offensive" performance was offensive (pun intended)…...
Offenses suck in the post season. Rams offense was trash. Defenses are not suppose to let CJ Anderson look like Emmitt Smith.

offenses suck in post season? says who? patriots laid 41 on chargers....a top 10 defense
rams, saints was 49 total points for the game
patriots and chiefs, 37- 31
chiefs laid 31 on colts,

simply not true....it depends on the games and matchups....offenses don't suck in post season...just a made up something from you

and I don't disagree....defense shouldn't allow a RB to get that many yards...but if the offense held the ball another 10 minutes, that would 10 less minutes the rams would have the ball and 10 minutes of less running, and 10 minutes of CJ not looking like emmitt smith

Based on what?
see wentz contract...… see Wilson contract.....Rodgers is about 33.5 but he is elite.....Wilson is better than dak….Dak shouldn't get 35 mill a year....unless you think he is as good as Wilson....or better than Rodgers....

You know, I am not so certain this is accurate. I mean, every player is evaluated differently and you can't just say that everybody is getting 30 million or whatever the number, just because that's how it is. First of all, I don't know that Dak is better then Garoppolo or Cousins. A lot of that has to do with situations and personnel but that's beside the point really. You gotta look further then just the surface on this stuff before you make declaratives like this. Garoppolo is making 27.5 a year but he only has 48.7 Million Guaranteed. Cousins is getting 28 with 84 guaranteed but Cousins might be a real big mistake for the Vikes. He doesn't really fit their Offense IMO. That is a perfect example of a team who made a stupid decision at QB IMO. I would like to think that our team is smarter then that but I guess we'll see.

Read the link. It totally applies to you.

And this is why I want the Cowboys to let Dak hit the market. So it can drive the price down a little. I think most teams are happy with what they have.

Man up.

I don't disagree.....but that's why there is Rodgers and Brady and Brees. I mean Brady had eddleman...I mean freaking eddleman….and they won the superbowl...somehow the WRs that leave packers somehow never are mentioned again. (I hope this doesn't happen to cobb)…..

so I am probably sick and tired of DakFanatics and their attitude of either you are 100% in love with Dak and find no faults...or you are hater.....just a little over the top.

the kid has some tools, he needs to improve his fundamentals to improve else he will be what he is which is middle of the pack QB.
The haters are much more annoying to me. Some of the exaggerations are just crazy. Somehow he needs to be top 3 and nothing is good enough. What's wrong with a conservative QB that doesn't break your heart trying to be Favre?

Here's a question for those true diehard Dak fans.

Why are you so opposed to letting him play out the 2019 under his current deal? Why does he have to be signed NOW? Just to save a few million a year?
We've been through this.

just a guess based on Wentz contract......

Well, Wentz's contract is 30 plus for 4 years but the guaranteed portion of that contract is actually like 25 or 26 depending on if you look at it over 4 years or 6 years. Philly actually got a deal done with Wentz that is much cheaper IMO. You have to look at the guaranteed portion of the contract. I don't know what the additional money is based on but lets say it's based on Wentz playing in 100% of the games or lets say it's based on winning championships, neither of those things are likely to happen. But if they do, then he gets the additional money but not until then. So if we want to give Dak a contract that pays him an average of 25 for 4 years or 23 for 6 with a bonus that brings him to 30 or whatever, I'm fine with it but the deal is really going to be about the guaranteed money because the rest is pie in the sky stuff. Players and agents only look at the guaranteed numbers.

No, Dak's agent will ask for more but the market ultimately drives salary. Just because Garoppolo and Cousins got whatever, doesn't mean that Dak will get that, or even that he should get that. He, in fact, should not get that. He should get whatever the market dictates his value to be. If it's 32 per year, then he should get that. If it's 23 per year, then he should get that. But paying players a percentage plus, over the following year, is a terrible way to manage your cap. What makes no sense is to expect that just because Dak and his agent might demand some number, they will automatically get it. That makes zero sense.

I believe Lewan is the highest paid LT in the NFL. He plays for the Titans I believe. The Titans have never won a Championship. They kept Fisher as their head coach for 14 seasons (and really 17 if you go back to the Houston days) and the guy only had six winning seasons. That's this Franchise. Maybe you might wanna consider that and let that sink in a little bit before you start wanting to emulate the Titans way of doing business. Just saying.

Read the link. It totally applies to you.

Has nothing to do with my point or this discussion.

But again, it is not surprising that you are looking like a fool yet again around these parts.
