Looks like the Lakers are looking to deal Bonga and Wagner to help create a max slot

Lakers are in big trouble being one of the worst run organizations in all of sports. Magic was like Voodoo. Their GM is still there along with ownership that doesn’t have a clue. Their coach was 3rd choice. Sad to see because a good Laker team is good for the league.

The one upside to Horford leaving is the Celtics can create a max slot now. DeAngelo Russell's name has been tossed around

Kyrie is also leaving so they may have to rebuild. Again.
People keep say rebuild but I think that is a bit much. I still think they will be a playoff team in 2019/20. I think they have to use that year to assess their young core. The can make a move via FA or trade to help now to help keep them at a spot where they can get a 4-6 seed.

To me Russell would my priority if I was then, age wise he matches up with Tatum and Brown. And skill wise he fits Stevens system

BOS was overloaded w players and resources.
It was inevitable at some point that they'd run into problems and lose someone for nothing.
Kyrie moving on likely helps them get back on track with a young coach and young team.
Too much talent to rebuild but they will have to reshape.
But they are def behind TOR/MIL/PHI in the East.

Yea, Danny Ainge made a lot of good decisions, however he played the last few years too conservative imo.

Do you think Leonard will return to the Raptors? I don't. Anyone who sat out a season with the Spurs because he wanted traded has an agenda. His agenda is either the Clippers or the Lakers in that order.

I am not sure anyone knows what Kawhi will do but I will say winning a title is special on a different level and it changes things.
TOR can still offer the most money and the injuries to Klay and KD may well have KL thinking about that.
Then again he is also a dude who may not care one iota about maxing out his salary.
He's a strange cat.

He preferred San Diego State to USC or UCLA.
He wants to be loved.

End of day we will see but that guy is a wildcard and may always be.

I have heard he doesn't wanna play with LBJ and he prefers the Clippers.
He is not really a Space Jam 2 kinda guy.

My best guess is he re-signs a 2 year max deal in TOR. Player option on year 2.
Kicks can on decision one year and allows him to make even more money once he hits FA.

Odds for me: 2 yr TOR > 4 years LAC > 5 years TOR, > 4 years LAL

this is also what LBJ did fwiw. he kicked can a few years while maintaining year to year control then left and maxed out on a likely final mega deal with LAL.

I'm a Spurs fan so have been following him from the beginning. He is a very strange guy. I'm sure his agent cares about the money but I honestly don't think Leonard does. His home is Cali and that's where he wants to be over anything else. We'll find out soon enough as FA starts in a couple weeks.

Celtics reportedly are interested in Bol Bol. Definitely wouldn't draft him at 14. In a fan of the skill set, but not the player himself. I could live with it in the 20's

Nice to see the great bond between Zion and his mother and how he gave her all the credit. I’m a fan now.

Question I have is...does OKC blow up tonight? Rumors abound Adams is on the move w/ the 21st pick. Question is for who? OKC trying to dump salary....yet still get better. Not sure how you do that. I don't think I'd trade my 1st w/ Adams...

Could be lots of movement tonight. OKC has been a bit snake bitten so maybe things will turn around for them.

I think the Lakers are going to implode. What’s up with this trade for AD? So many loose ends.
