I'd wager if you offered up either QB to all 32 teams, the vast majority of teams, probably all (including the Cowboys), would take Mahomes. His skill set is better than Dak's.

We need to shake this homerism that we have. You can like Dak without getting silly and think he's better than arguably the most gifted QB in the NFL who just had a season where he just threw 50 TDs against only 12 interceptions.

I saw Dak's potential since training camp the first year and he has not disappointed.

Yeah, there are other QBs that are better and that would be chosen over Prescott, but it's a moot point. I'd take a 100,000 more in salary - same logic. What fans fail or refuse to do is accept Prescott isn't the Queen Mary Mother of all QBs and just enjoy watching the kid play. I guess this makes me a homer....whatever.

Take ALEX Yards for instance. Its 3rd and 8 and Dak completes a pass for 6 yards. We do not get the first down and punt the ball away. But Dak's normal stats of completion percentage goes up because he completed the pass. There was a article that was going over this and showed video of Dak completing the pass short of the first down and showed the other options on the field he should have went to. He did not read the play correctly. Its why at the end of games Dak can have a 68% completion with 200 yards and team scores 13 points.

Dak Prescott as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback works.

And the numbers prove it.

Numbers are facts, to me at least. Most stats can tell you something in the context of the team... Dak has the stats of a winner. He wins. He's proven that.

So, I get tired of arguing with people who think Dak's a loser — for whatever reason.

That facts are, almost every single statistic you point at proves he's not.

I was Romo's first fan. I loved watching him play. But I'm happy to be moving forward with Dak.
