even if weed is legal, the league could still keep it on the banned list.Do I support Everything Mexico and Canada are doing? No. But weed is harmless and necessary.
Pain and suffering is real and Im an expert at living with debilitating pain. Coping with pain requires you to have a high aptitude and alot of strenghths to overcome and shake off fear and pain and go get more.
I personally cannot handle alcohol and pills. I have a tendency to overmedicate at times and they make me nauseous and constipated and sick. I made very bad choices getting hooked on alcohol and pills for few month period. Im very blessed thats over. Im an overmedicator not an overdoser and alcohol and pills are addictive and the worst choice of all because of tolerance.
I think weed should be a substitute or alternative for the overmedicators who have to cope with pain. This is Hollywood Football and TMZ League but its a CONTACT SPORT most boxers get time to heal. Nfl players have to play broken or not get paid. Let the non additive weed be the better choice than alcohol and pills
Correct. There are other banned substances which aren’t illegal.even if weed is legal, the league could still keep it on the banned list.
Smoking weed doesn't prevent Randy from tackling people. Suspensions do that.
He needs to do what scumbag crackhead Cris Carter and that piece of trash Warren Sapp do and have the designated posse member who does the dirt for you. Zeke's gotta learn to get the fall guy.Probably.
And that’s it.
If our defense isn’t as much of a force as a result and the potential impacts that could have not only on defense but the entire team along with losing Irving and Lawrence’s injury.. Of course it could be a big deal. Especially after we finally saw what his talent could bring to our defense.
Of course, I'd be glad to see Gregory be afforded the opportunity to contribute this year, although, realistically I'm just not expecting it. I do feel, however, that our pass rush will be considerably improved upon with several youngsters that show encouraging signs of contributing. Robert Quinn should also be a significant addition as a veteran DE with a promising history and an impressive level of proven success. I'm quite confident that our pass rush will be significantly improved upon in 2019. Reportedly, Demarcus Lawrence is doing well in his rehab and should be back to his old self again. Hyder should provide some capable help as well. I do believe our opponents' QBs will be harassed on a persistent basis.
His job is to follow the drug policy, he's intentionally insubordinate.
Why do you even care about this matter? Aren't you a Philthy Beagles phan??? Shouldn't you be arguing all this over at Bleedin Green Nation instead of trolling Cowboy boards? 10 posts about pothead Gregory being reinstated when you have no skin in the game whazzup with that?
Asking for a friend.
If it’s their 4th suspension because they refused to follow guidelines set in place due to previous attempts to ‘help’ them, then yes you have ground for suspension without pay. No employer is required by law to run a halfway house.
Edit: I just read the ADA. That’s entirely about discrimination toward people with disabilities, mental or physical. That is not what’s happening here at all. If a disability directly interferes with your ability to complete a task required by the job, then that is not discrimination. If you’re missing an arm, you are no longer fit to be a logger. If you cannot stop smoking weed because of your mental issue, you are directly violating the league policy that no one is allowed to smoke weed under any condition. You’re not being discriminated against, you’re being treated as equal to someone who does not have a condition. That’s what the ADA wants.
NFL has indefinitely suspended people multiple times and no one has even attempted to call them out on it, because it is perfectly legal.
i don't know what all the fuss is about he is pretty much a jag when he is playing time for the team to move on and give him another chance to do something with his life
You're basically contending that mental disabilities are not legitimate reasons to consider. This is in direct conflict with multitudes of medical professionals who know better. Randy has been officially diagnosed with a social anxiety disorder. Marijuana provides a level of relief that other meds cannot. There will eventually come a time when that fact is recognized, despite the fact that it currently isn't so. The NFL may or may not see fit to recognize this, although, in any case, time and education has a way of changing outdated ideas
Marijuana is not legal in the state of Texas. Time with change that, yes. But that time is not today.
On the flip side, I have a son with a form of OCD that is EXTREMELY resistant to medication. We've managed it for the last 15 years, but it's been really, really tough. The anxiety he suffers has been life threatening at times. If we had access to a potentially less harmful and more effective alternative to the stuff he has to take, I'd do it in a heart beat.Mental disabilities do no specifically require marijuana. He is openly choosing to go that route against the rules of the nfl. There are many different avenues he could have taken instead. That is the problem.
Also, Marijuana is not legal in the state of Texas. Time with change that, yes. But that time is not today. They have no legal requirement of enabling his criminal activity.

IF Gregory truly responds to marijuana better than he does the prescribed stuff, it makes no sense for a man to not be able to treat a medical issue. Everything I've ever read about Gregory leads me to believe he's a decent guy suffering from a very serious mental disorder that responds to the chemicals in marijuana. IMO, I believe this is the reason the Cowboys have held onto this talent...because his use of the banned substance isn't coupled with a bad attitude.
Did you literally just compare using crack cocaine to limiting the potential use of marijuana or its components to treating a serious medical issue? But it's a slippery slope. Crack cocaine helps me drive heavy machinery. Also, my grandmother is sick and it helps me cope, I promise.
Pot is legal in our Neighboring Country CANADA now and was like a 10 billion dollar industry in the United States last year Alone. Lol.
As soon as the NFL and the Alcohol producers and Distributors Get their hooks set in the pot industry money the US LAWS will change. The NFL RULES will change prior to that and I BELIEVE that time is near.
Its medically necessary/legal and allowed in 30 US States, legal for recreation in 10+ states and our Sister Country Canada its legal at like age 19 and Mexico is south of us. Lol. Who wants to come to America if they are gonna be strip searched for weed and who is gonna pay for all that police'ing?
Its costing us Billions to Police Weed in non legal states and at the Border and America is Sandwiched in between 2 countries where Pot is Legal. Lol.
Why are we still police'ing harmless weed when its probably 99% less harmful than legal alcohol and pills because of addiction and overmedicating anyways. Lol. Ask a Doctor to write a prescription for that?
Its gonna change soon because it will save lives AND costs TRILLIONS less to police the overmedicators, overdosers, and weed users while we are still propping up this illegal prohibition system.

I am fascinated by the RKG environment Dallas has built over the last decade or so. Never seen anything like it
