I'm going to rank him about 16. I give the edge to Newton, and Stafford. I don't think Nick Foles belongs on that list. In some areas he's better than Prescott, and a lot of other quarterbacks on that list, but game for game he hasn't shown the consistency it takes to lead a team through a 16 game schedule and into the playoffs. In the playoffs yeah, I probably take him before any quarterback on that list not named Brady, or Rogers.
I actually have went back and forth on Nick Foles because when he has had to sub for Wentz, ..he's delivered in clutch situations. I've put him last only because he's been more backup rather than 16 game player, but he's outperformed a number of starters when he's had to start.
Something has elevated in his game since he's been rejuvenated under Doug Pederson, he started well under Andy Reid but somehow got lost before returning to form the last 2 years.
If not for Alshon Jeffries drop that led to INT vs Saints, Eagles would've had rematch vs Rams (which they won reg. season game in LA) in NFC title game.
From the eye ball test, I like Foles game management and decision making better than the overrated Kirk Cousins.
We'll have to see how Foles will fair with Jax Jags vs how he has been in Philly
-BTW, i'm not just sold on Bears Mitch Tribisky, as I think he's solid but not unique, not dynamic, not an A-tier level QB. i'm not yet convinced.
-and I don't think I listed Niners Kimmy Grarrapolo, as he's only been a handful of reg season game QB who has been as brittle-fragile as they come.
He does have skills and promise, but not the body to sustain.
