Watching people throw a fit over other people's money never gets old.

I blame him completely and I hope Jerry finds the will to fine him to the fullest extent for every day he misses. I doubt that will happen but I would be in favor of it. Letting this guy act in such a manner doesn't serve the team goals, doesn't serve Elliott personally, doesn't serve the League as a whole and it Certainly doesn't serve the Fan Base.

Oh well, next man up!
didn't you hear though? Elliott is taking a stand for all those who will come after him!!!!!1111 He's a leader!!!1111

I don't blame Zeke for trying. He will lose this battle. I blame his union for negotiating the type of deal he gets as a rookie.
Yep, they all have Sam Bradford to thank for these rookie deals

LMAO at the comment Zeke should be mad at the union for the deal they did reducing the obscene amount unproven rookies were getting.

The Union represents all the players...of which rookies are probably about 20% in any given year. They are always going to work for gains that affect the most of their members.

The weird part to me is, why is he just know deciding to hold out after being at all the mini camps and voluntary stuff. Makes no sense
Yeah, and his Twitter account was all like he can't wait to get back to football. Weird

Frankly, he is one of the top 3 backs in football right now. My opinion is he is the TOP back. Running backs have a short shelf life. Most of them can't multiply 7 x 7, so they have no future outside of football.
So they have to get what they can get, while they can get it.

I do have a problem with the way things work in the NFL though. I feel like the NFL is like playing cards, where everyone throws their cards in, then they later renege.

I always found it extremely crazy, how contracts never get fulfilled to completion. They always have to be redone, changed, modified in some friggin way. I would hate
to be a CFO type, in charge of a franchise's money lol.
What makes you think he is the top back besides volume?

A deal that made him a top 5 paid rb before he ever stepped foot on the field?

I wish people would think critically.

That sudden decision indicates to me that somebody talked to him and convinced him to do this.

Start the fines.
I still think he will show up by the 6th of August.
Unless he is pretty sure he will get a new deal, unlike Bell in Steeler land. I doubt that accrued year toward FA doesn’t matter if he is confident he will stay in Dallas.

I am for Zeke getting paid, but also honor your contract while you continue to negotiate.
I agree with this "I am for Zeke getting paid, but also honor your contact while you continue to negotiate"

Listen, I don't like that Elliott MAY hold out, but players have every right to get as much money as they can regardless of what fans "think" is enough or fair. NFL players will tell you this. It's already been illustrated by Frederick that they play with who's there and that there's a business side of things.
It's only a problem to some fans.

They have the right. They also have the right to sit and pay a fine. They have a right to make a choice and the team has a right to move on. Thing is, people also have legal and moral obligation to stand up to contracts. I encourage him to exercise his rights, just as I encourage the team to fine him to the limit of the rule.

It seems to me the cowboys have several whiny players in key positions, that are just playing for the money, they are mainly
concerned about how many millions they make instead of being concerned about winning a SB and at the very least being the
best players they can be.
Seeing this tells me , this team will not make it to a SB in the next few years, but they will make a lot of money.
If they want a lot of money they should go play in Buffalo or tampa bay etc, so we can get players that want to win.
