It’s a little late to draft someone to replace Elliott. So am I.

Yea. I loved the yards comparison with McFadden to Elliott. LolYeah... sometimes it's like - wow.
And a couple of these guys that do this try to come off as so erudite and pompous while bringing up... yards.
Lawdhavemercy.
This is the business of the NFL.Team has stood by him through some true nonsense, and he’s now going to hold them hostage. Dude is a piece of work.
And the holdout is official...

Where’s that fool who claimed it was all a false rumor. Lol
Oh...no. As for this year, get Ajayi on the cheap and go RB by committee. Tell Zeke to kick rocks and we’ll draft a suitable replacement next year. It’s a little late to draft someone to replace Elliott.
I understand but our situation is a little different . First of all we don’t have that OC and we have a QB overly dependent on not only the rushing game but a talent like Elliott to keep defenses honest or our passing offense would be a total disaster.Oh...no. These “generational” RB’s are so over rated if you have a decent OC. When is the last time a “generational” RB or the leading rusher won a Super Bowl? If you can even find one, how many have won SB’s in the past twenty years?
Remember Hambrick and Randle?I understand but our situation is a little different . First of all we don’t have that OC and we have a QB overly dependent on not only the rushing game but a talent like Elliott to keep defenses honest or our passing offense would be a total disaster.
You’ll see... lol
Most of us have already witnessed but perhaps others need a history lesson.
On the surface perhaps but are Cooper and Prescott feeling they might not be extended.I guess I understand a guy wanting more money. Who doesn't.
But Zeke's QB who had made less in the past and will make less than him this year (and also doesn't have a contract beyond this season) didn't hold out. Zeke's WR who is also on the last year of his deal, didn't hold out for his long term extension.
Both showed up ready to go. This hold out by Zeke makes it look like Zeke is Zeke first whereas Prescott and Cooper are team first.
And he's trying to turn that around. On the surface perhaps but are Cooper and Prescott feeling they might not be extended.
The vibe has been we will pound Elliott in the ground and move on.
People use yards for Zeke as rushing leader. Which is so silly.Yards... sweet.
And it resulted in a 4-12 season. Compelling is to use the 4th overall pick on Elliott.
An interesting response to a team which it saw it as a resounding success? Lol
And... as we all know: yards are the end-all be-all for the RB position.People use yards for Zeke as rushing leader. Which is so silly.
Although McF did have more yards with less Carrie's than Zeke.
Really really sad
It's the Economy Stupid! You think a 1,000 yard rusher in 10 games was the reason for 4-12?
I'll give you two guesses as to the real reason. Thus is really easy. Nobody can get this wrong
Another poster that tried to make a point and actually made others points by mistake.
Its not about the yards. Its about the respect a defense needs to show the RB.
O'Dell Beckham doesnt need to lead the league in yards to be effective when defenses are rolling coverage to his side.
A DE or LB doesnt need to lead the league in saks to be the the most effective if he is pulling doubles to him constantly.
Stats are for nerds and losers.
Do you think a defensive coordinator and defensive players would't care if McFadden is in the game or Zeke? Stop it.
Exactly!It's the Economy Stupid!
