Sometimes when I'm trying to go to sleep I'll count the syllables in sayings, song verses, or whatever to see if it ends in increments of 5..it's weird how something's do.lol. Take Me out to the ball game does, I may need help

Hey, does that help? I have sleep issues and haven't tried that. Actually wouldn't have thought of that until you posted it. Does Inagaddavida count?

I do not eat left over or cold fries evah!
You need to tell some posters here where you live and let them come get those leftovers. However, you haven't actually said there are any leftovers. Fries can't get cold if they're in the ole tumtum.

While driving, I take the first letter of each word in billboards and try to make words out of them.

I can listen to the same song 30 times in a row and not get tired of it. I can watch the same movie 10 times in a row and not get tired of it if I enjoy it. I can see the same gag and still laugh at it many times later. I can cry over the same story even when I know what's going to happen.

I can't stand cold food. I will reheat it until it changes texture.
I don't know if it's quirky, but I peel a banana from the opposite end of the stem:

That banana has a tail.

When I'm having trouble sleeping, I've found the best thing for me is to try to trick my brain into thinking I'm falling asleep. You know how, when you're falling asleep you have strange, dreamlike visions about things like, maybe a raccoon talking to you, then hopping on a scooter and riding up a tree? Just try to imagine the strangest, completely out of context, random, senseless things, and it might help. It often works for me.

But I sleep with a talking raccoon.

I talk out loud to myself a lot. Talking through things on your mind with yourself helps, since you're putting vague images into real words. It seems to give me more control over my thoughts and more understanding of what I am thinking of. I guess thinking out loud just helps me materialize what I’m thinking about. It also can probably make me look insane.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not constantly walking around rambling things to myself like somebody on an acid trip, but, when alone and my thought process gets going I tend to think out loud a bit.

I can listen to the same song 30 times in a row and not get tired of it.

Same here! If I love a song, I love a song!

I remember a long time ago, either Ellen DeGeneres or Paula Poundstone said, in a stand up routine, "I think we should put all those people walking around, talking to themselves in pairs, so they at least look like they're having a conversation!"

I have “BIG” salads quite often for dinner. Like a portion for 2 families with a few boiled eggs, egg whites 2-3 chicken breasts, lots and lots o lettuce, croutons, seeds, chopped veggies, bout half a bottle of so e sore of dressing or oil and vinegar...ya know, the works.

I recently started eating it with a spoon. I like to feed efficiently and found the fork to get in the way with all the stabbing and what not. Plus it’s not conducive to picking up the seeds, croutons and other small bits that may end up in the bottom of the gargantuan bowl. Switching to a spoon really cut down on my overall feeding time along with less leftovers at the bottom and less frustration while eating.

I pretty much use a spoon to eat anything (within reason) now.

I encountered you on the streets of New York many times but you don't yell to yourself too, do you?
