He’s not a millennial... most millennials are in their late 20s-early 40s... he’s gen z or the IGen the generation that had grown up with smart phones
If you're in your 40's, you're probably a part of Generation X.
I know I am.

He also said that when the context was paying him when his contract runs out, not two years early...

Ridiculous. Gurley's 3 year old deal wouldn't be a meaningful reference point then. And I'm pretty sure that everyone in the organization knows that we aren't going another two years without a Zeke deal.

Haven't won anything of substance in football for 25 years, yet wants to low-ball elite players. Congratulations, Stephen the Cowboys will continue to fall short on your watch too.

Seems the Joneses like the drama of negotiating thru the media (ref. Dez, DLaw) and having fans trash there best players over contracts they deserve.

It's not that they don't deserve a payday, but just because gurley got x, doesn't mean zeke deserves more. The team had to be smart, and they wool pay a set amount every year. As Stephen said, it isn't like they are saving money to put in jerry's pocket. You can not redo a rookie deal 2 years early......if you fo...well, here comes nation, here comes van see each, and on and on. You just can't do it. Dez deal was up, no?

low ball? ZEKE has an active contract HE SIGNED. Two years remaining. What is so difficult to grasp? If I were Zeke, I would get his butt here, play the season in good faith, THEN revisit a new deal next offseason.

At some point, an NFL team must insist that their players be reasonable regarding their contractual expectations. Otherwise, they'd be unable to compete with teams that operate more efficiently. Simply put, it's a highly desirable goal to be competitive and to maximize your team's success. Maintaining a team's financial structure is crucial in that effort. Stephen seems rigidly set in terms of doing just that. It's for the good of the team.
These greedy players in today’s NFL don’t give a flying **** about winning or about the organization and their teammates. They’re all doing the Johnny Manzeil.

What seemed like such a great start to a new season just two weeks ago has turned into a snafu to the 10th power.
SNAFU IS RIGHT. ClusterBLEEP...fits too. All thanks to an overzealous agent, more than likely.

More like he had no choice, to be honest. Those Rookie contracts are not set up for a lot of negotiation.

Cheapskate Son will try to screw this up like he did with Dez and with Murray without a suitable replacement. . And Big Daddy will need to swoop in and save us. Lol

Yeah... I'm sure that crossed his mind.
How ridiculous...

Hey! Should I play in the NFL under an unfair Rookie contract and get relatively screwed, or bag groceries?

Come on now. And your posit makes no gander towards the fact that the Rookie contracts are unfair, especially to top performing RB's.
None.

Ugly.
