And this is why we need a new QB

Ignore the bad pass, that's expected. What should not be happening at this point is Dak waiting for the receiver to be fully cleared of any defender before the ball comes out. He's still waiting 2 seconds after the receiver is open to actually throw the ball...and it's even worse because Dak already knows what's going to happen with no pressure from the defense.

It was a drill with no safety help over the top. You can't tell from that when he needed to throw the ball. For all we know the intent of the drill was to throw a downfield pass

2012 vs the Commanders immediately comes to mind. When that article was written Romo was 0 for 3 in must win games to advance to the playoffs. I'll do my due dilligence though, and document them per your request because I know the truth pisses the Romo nut huggers off around here.

The only agenda are the Romosexuals who want to treat #9 like he was elite. It's disrespectful to quarterbacks who didn't fold in late season games and actually led their teams to more than two playoff wins.

Keep in mind that in seasons that the Defense was considered good, it always seemed to collapse when it mattered most and couldn't get stops, forcing the offense to take chances. That doesn't excuse interceptions, but it's not all on Romo.

Talk about revisionist history.

Please document the “many costly interceptions in late season games” that killed the teams chances. Haters will make up all kinds of lies to try and help their agendas

No matter how bad you Romosexuals wish to bury the truth, history is undefeated.

PAPPY was talking about Teddy Bridgewater, who hasn't proven even remotely as much as Dak has. Of course, PAPPY has always proven to have a wildly unreasonable viewpoint on Dak. I get not being sure of Dak just yet, and I even get it if someone doubts Dak will ever prove to be the right guy, but PAPPY acts as if Dak is the worst QB in the NFL and has shown no ability at all. That's so contrary to fact that to believe that blows any chance for PAPPY to be considered credible on any topic. Of course, Dak is his only topic. He's obsessed. I'm pretty sure Dak must have compromised his sister's virtue.

Keep families out of this.....dang classless Dak lovers!

Oh, so when the O-line couldn't even give him a second, it's all on him. Yep, I can see how you'd put that 100% on the QB when a dude got to him without even being bumped. Teams win as a team and lose as a team. He helped the team lose that one, but he wasn't the only one. Why couldn't the defense make stops? Why couldn't the O-line actually protect? Oh, but never mind that. It's always the QB no matter what. There are never mitigating circumstances.

Please don’t compare Mahomes to Dak. It’s embarrassing!

It's not comparing. It's pointing out the absurdity of judging one pass (particularly in practice). Quite frankly, I'd rather Dak miss a wide open rookie RB (who turned his head too soon looking for the ball, which slowed him down - just ask Amari who commented on that last season) than miss a wide open RB in the AFC Champ game, then take a sack on the next play getting them out of FG range in a game the Chiefs LOST BY THREE POINTS. But make no mistake, I think Mahomes is better.

The first step towards recovery is admitting Romo screwed up, so kudos for that half hearted confession. No such thing as a perfect team, but the fact remains Romo had the ball in the closing moments of the game and pissed away any chance for a comeback with another goofy choke job.

Making the pro bowl a second time is not a sign of "major regression".

Shouting it isn't going to make your fantasy any more true.

Not to quibble, but you do realize that Prescott made the Pro Bowl as the third alternate, right?

I'm just saying it contradicts the hyperbole of "major regression". That was literally my only point. Players that are majorly regressing get benched, not selected to play in pro bowls.

It seems to be a consistent issue. I don't think it's a lack in confidence. Just something says don't release it yet. He's got to get over that

This is nothing unusual its just Dak he is too risk adverse he needs recievers wide open to pull the trigger.

First step? I never coddled Romo. When he screwed up, I'd call it out. I just didn't put all of the blame on him like some people who had no concept of the game being a team game.

How on earth can a guy miss this throw???? Like I've been saying...they guy literally couldn't hit water from a boat. No pressure what so ever....and he misses Pollard by 5 yards. Just inexcusable. And definately not worth 30 million.

Did Dak play with this RB last year? Did the RB play with Dak last year?

Have we had a losing season with this QB?

2016* 13-3-0 Playoffs
2017 9-7-0
2018* 10-6-0 Playoffs

We talking about Practice! Not a Game! We Talking about practice! We talking about Practice!
