Pappy, please don't burst his bubble. he lives in a fantasy world of his own. he has a huuuugggeee Dak crush...he named one of his dildo's Dak...you get my point...let the boy be in his fantasy

Personally as its a social media age and Dak is great with the PR it wouldn't surprise me that some of these Dak-lovers are on Dak's payroll.
There support here for such a mediocre QB leaves one to wonder what the angle is?

So it’s ok for Dak’s agents to reach for the stars contract wise but the same rules don’t apply to Zeke and his agents????!

The hypocrisy of some people here is amazing.
its not OK, but don't tell the Dak lovers, their shorts are all tied up in a knot....I think its one giant Knot, but that's to be confirmed yet...

Misleading title as at the most it’s Dak’s agent that wants Dak to be the highest paid QB. You should know better but obviously you just like to continue your trolling ways.
Or, perhaps if you listened to the The Fan yesterday, you'd have heard exactly what I posted. And an agent represents the player's wishes, dude. They're a team.

I'm sorry these things affect your sensibilities so.

Ben and Skin on The Fan, which carries the Cowboys games, said their sources say Dak's agency is demanding he be the highest-paid player in the NFL.

They are asking for more than $36 million per year.

No thanks. Let him play for $900K this year, and if proves himself, you just saved$35 million you can scatter over the next years when you pay him $40 million pretty year.

Or, if he falls flat, you saved your franchise's cap future.
Play out the deal. This is stupid, he should not be the highest paid qb in the league. I for the longest time have been saying, he deserves the Nick Foles contract, full stop.

What you and I think doesn't matter.

I believe they'd very much like to get a deal done with him in the $28 million per year range. It's predicted that in 5 years with the new CBA, quarterbacks are going to be making upwards of $60 million per year, so that would look like a bargain by then.

I think Dak is making a huge miscalculation here. He should absolutely take that money now. I don't think he'd handle the pressure at all of being the highest paid quarterback in the league.

come on those ratings are fake....bunch of former NFL players and NFL analysts giving their opinion on players in the league...what they heck do they understand! about football....
top 100 as voted by the players, (who the players think is the best I believe it was 1600 players) but if players don't think he's top 100 it's pretty credible, sure gives Dak more motivation for this year, hey he's the guy who keeps saying they "doubted me" , time to prove them wrong. Enjoy the season.

Dak's Agent: We believe our client should be the highest paid player in the league.

Stephen: Your client didn't make the top 100 as voted by his peers. Sound logical to you?

If that is true...which i doubt ...let him play this year and franchise him next year. See if he is still worth highest paid category.

erod, fair point on what you and i say doesnt matter. Five years from now we might have a new QB, I'm sure we will have a new RB, new TE, and a new HC.

All true, except Witten will be entering his 21st season.

No, an agent represents the agents wishes, dude. I guess you’ve never been around the world and had to negotiate your way around. You always start out high. But hey, keep on hating as it’s what you obviously love to do.

LOL, I've run multiple businesses "dude." I forgotten more about negotiation than you'll ever know.

The report was that that his Dak and his agent (you know, they do talk to each other and the agent has to do whatever Dak says) are standing firm on being the highest paid player in the NFL.

That's what they reported, which I passed along.

Ben took major criticism last year when his sources told him Witten was considering returning last year. Then, Witten confirmed he was right after he re-signed with Dallas. The guy does have connections.

oh, what do other players know about football and other team football players, they don't look at stats like we Dak Lovers do. they don't even know Dak is 32-16 and they probably don't like him because he has been so successful. its jealousy and they purposely didn't vote him in :cool::confused:;)

Ill agree with that. If he wants to be the highest paid player in the NFL at this stage, then he can rot.

It's what agents do. They ask for as much as they can and settle somewhere in between. Of course we know Prescott isn't worth that and they do to it's just a negotiating ploy.
