Look the drunk cat picture is a classic. Hard to get really mad at a guy that introduces that knee slapping visual.
Otis has been through thick and thin with me. I am a dog person but I make an exception with him.

I'm not talking about those that disagree with you. That's fun. I'm talking about those with nothing to offer of substance.
In that case, I hope someone tells you I don't give a crap, cuz I'm sure I'm on your list!! Lol

Site dried up since we left. Good riddance.
I like the way you put that "we left", makes it sound like our idea.

I must say, Booger was footing the bill for that site and if any of his family members or he ever came there to read what we were writing about him, that would have ended it. That was always the bonus for me, he was paying for us to blast him. I do not think Reality would be so obliging.

Still miss some of the old gang that didn't make it over here but that's what growing up, I prefer that to older, will do, make you change with the change.

I really miss Don and all of his spins off that name. When she booted him off, she did let him back on but wouldn't give him back his mailbox, many laughs over that. And he was our resident artist, great stuff. He made my Booger & Son plumbers' van, I treasured that. And the stuff he'd do with Booger, Garrett and others was fall down funny. Best sigs ever.

Actually, I did just leave. Didn't like the way the site was going, and enjoyed it more here.

One of the very best features of this great site is the ability to put posters on "ignore" and get rid of the white noise.

It's not something you need often, but it really parses down the site to what's interesting, relevant and conversational, while getting rid of the simpletons and riff-raff from your feed. It sharpens your experience here and eliminates the time waste of going back and forth with the clueless and meandering know-nothings.

I highly recommend it. I've got about 12 on ignore, some of them from forever ago that I'm not even sure are still here. I use it sparingly.

I don't recommend using it just because of a spirited debate that gets testy or even personal, then cools off later and gets back to meaningful football discussion. It's just the internet, and who cares about that stuff. We all get a little overly passionate at times about the Cowboys.

I'm referring to those useless fence-posts who never add anything to any conversation, and don't have the football acumen to be worth your time or thought process. You know the kind.

If you haven't already, tailor the site the way you want it before the season starts. Makes for a much better season all the way around.
Hey everyone besides the top poster I just put this guy on ignore, he seems like he feels "superior" You know the kind

Even better is the god given ability (GASP) to ignore people without having to (GASP) ‘put them on ignore’ or the god given ability (GASP) to consider that someone else may be right or have a point about something (of course except @Idgit )

Just think about this before you put me on ignore .........

I’ll let him know what you said.

I have zero because I'm not a pansy.
Saying someone has nothing of substance to offer is subjective.

I'm amused at how seriously some of ya'll take yourselves on a sports message board as you write four to five paragraph discourses about everything under the sun concerning the Cowboys and the state of the community on Cowboys Zone. I can't image putting that much attention and effort into this board, then acting all "holier than thou" and making ado about putting others on ignore because you don't like the cut of their jib. Seems like a pretty vapid existence.

People judging those who occasionally use "ignore" are kind of being hypocrites
:muttley:
Free world, free forum, and freedom to ignore whomever the hell we want!
Having said that, it takes someone who gets way too personal before I'd use the feature. Kind of a once a year thing, maybe.

Same reason I don't watch a few isolated tv channels or movies....just matter of preference. If someone else enjoys them, go for it.
