Jaylon Smith is the same age as Zeke - 24. They couldn’t be more different.
Jaylon is a rare classy & humble dude.

A player that requires a big contract has much less value than a player that is expected to be on a low cost rookie contract for a few more years. At least a #1 and probably more. What do you think the fair market value would be for Zeke?
Different time. That's why Zeke's holding out. Nobody cares about RBs anymore. This is probably his one big chance to make big money.
With the possible exception of Commanders whacko Dan Snyder, nobody’s gonna offer a future 1st-rd pick for a guy who’s currently holding out on his rookie contract because he wants to be paid more money than any other RB in the league. At least a #1 and probably more. What do you think the fair market value would be for Zeke?
He'd fetch a 2nd pick and a 5th.At least a #1 and probably more. What do you think the fair market value would be for Zeke?
Idk I could be wrong but i feel like if you offer Zeke to the chiefs for a 1st they accept it and print superbowl tickets. With the possible exception of Commanders whacko Dan Snyder, nobody’s gonna offer a future 1st-rd pick for a guy who’s currently holding out on his rookie contract because he wants to be paid more money than any other RB in the league.
Dak is not bright but neither is he a Teddy Bridgewater. He’s worth 2 #1s in our outdated (dumbed down for Dak) offense.

How many teams would give Zeke the biggest contract in NFL history for a RB if he was a free agent?
From the group that would give him the biggest RB contract, how many would give up draft picks for the right to do it?
The Cowboys don't want to give him the contact and they don't have to give up additional draft picks to do it.
The decision for a team interesting in trading for Zeke would come down to:
The trade market would likely be better during the season if a contending team's starting RB got injured.
- Get Zeke now and give him a big contract plus give up draft pick(s).
- Most teams that wanted a RB probably signed a free agent or drafted one.
- Wait until next year and use the money to sign the best free agent RB.
- Wait until next year and draft a RB.
Hurry up because you are missed, bigboy. Not sure but I'ma make some wings and get a beer. BRB.
I'm not giving him away. 1,500 yd backs, with power & speed that can leap over defenders plus take on 3-4 players & still strong enough to get that extra yard when it's a must, are rare. Plus he is a good reciever.
At least 2 1sts and a 3rd.
It depends if the Chief's defense is any better. I doubt the Chiefs would change their offense to fit Zeke though. They'll just try to outscore everybody.Idk I could be wrong but i feel like if you offer Zeke to the chiefs for a 1st they accept it and print superbowl tickets.
Just like meJaylon is a rare classy & humble dude.
1 and a 3 is what I'd want. Nobody will do that.Just a 1st. No thanxs.
Eric Dickerson, Rams to the Colts.Do we have any precedents at RB trades to go off of?
Different position.Lets just look at the facts and a current example.
Antonio Brown. One of the best at his position, somewhat of a mental midget and headache. Wanted to be paid as one of the highest at his position.
I think the Raiders gave up a 2nd and 3rd?
Brown, however is close to 30 and Zeke is what 24?
They definitely get their first and 3rd minimum.
His agent would find a team to pay him. There are teams that would pay Zeke.the best way to find out is to allow his agent to put out feelers and see what kind of deal he comes up with on his own. but don't allow anything unless cowboys agree to it. aikman, romo and others have been allowed to do so. but not too many ended getting what they thought they might.
