Playing some Rage 2 this morning. Not bad!! I'm having fun with it so far. It's an open-world shooter game. Feels a bit like Mad Max. I think the guns feel pretty good to shoot and the combat seems good. Graphics are solid. The open-world map seems fairly large and has some interesting places to explore. I am still figuring out the upgrading and collecting of loot, but overall, I'm having fun with it. Probably not a game I would drop $60 for but definitely worth a rental.

Rotated back to Fallout 4. Never finished it. Every time I get into it, I wind up messing around with my settlements lol
Oh Man, you can spend an entire gaming session just bouncing back &forth between settlements,,,what's kinda' cool is if you mission up with the Railroad fraction enough, they'll lay that ballistic fiber perk on you,& then you can run around in a tuxedo that has a 110 armour rating, but, the jet pack modification to that xo power armour can't be beat, I'll worm my way up high at nite on rooftops & set up to where I'll have raiders, gunners super mutants on all three sides of me & then start whistling down mini-nukes on them,,,I luv blowing up cars at nite:lmao::thumbup:

Yes, it's fun but it gets very repetitive very quickly.

Remnant is out on all platforms. Really enjoying this game. The replayability and gameplay is top notch, and the value at $40 makes it highly recommended. Definitely pick it up if you like Dark Souls games or third person shooters.

I can't believe Dungeon Fighter Online is so high grossing. My now wife and I would play that together during our final year of college while we lived an hour and some change away from each other in Columbia and Charlotte.

It was pretty fun. The publisher (I think Nexon) shut it down not too long after that. A Korean company revived it a few years later. I bet Nexon is kicking itself now.

I picked it up on ps4 too along with Control. Interested to see how they turn out. Gears of War 5 is out soon so gonna have to dust off that Xbox one.

Did anyone else have trouble getting into Hollow Knight? I usually love Metroidvania type games, but I'm not feeling this one so far.

I appreciate the aesthetic of the environments, but don't like them. It's just too much darkness and everything looks the same. And then when there is action, I think there is just too much happening on-screen with the animations, effects, and bounce back from any kind of contact (even the good kind). The controls feel fairly tight, but yet just off, somehow.

That doesn't even get to the fact, that I don't know why I'm doing anything. I don't know what my motivation is supposed to be. I'm jist wandering aroumd for the sake of wandering around at this point.

If you're a fan of the Fallout video game series, then you may want to check out this game in October:

I can see where there would be varied avenues to pursue in staying occupied& the squawking screams of people dying was kinda' motivating, but I'll wait& watch some YouTube reviews first couple of months first, as It kinda' looks like I'd grow bored with it,once it's pointless in futility of playing threshold is realized.

I've found myself getting back into RDR2 lately. I forgot what a beautiful open world that is. I'm at about 92% story completed. The story line has taken a few turns I wasn't really expecting, but overall, really what a fantastic game. Another crazy thing to note, even at my 92% completion, I still have parts of the map covered that I have yet to explore.
