it's hard for me to understand why so many get emotional over a billionaire and the best rb in the game fighting over a new deal. there will be a press conference. maybe even a video of him signing with jerry, Stephen and charlotte in the room. and there will be nothing but smiles. no frowns. now on to dak.
The only frowns are the holey rollers around here.

No way Zeke was going to start missing out on a quarter million a week

I think he will sign and play not because of the money. He wants to prove all the Barkley fans on here that he is better than Barkley. Not that he needs to, but more like shut them up. :D

Outside of guaranteed money this deal should have been done weeks ago. As much as I'd like to see how Dak plays without Zeke the difference between what each side wants the contract to be just isn't worth jeopardizing this season.

We've seen Dak without Zeke....do we really wanna go there again....think not!!!

That’s all I have but I know it’s not realistic. You won’t find one comment from me saying I ever thought he wouldn’t be in a Cowboy uniform, only hoping he wouldn’t.
You just hope he gets hurt... or gets suspended.

I honestly don’t get fans that think that way.

I’m not saying I’m a better fan than you, or that I know more than you... I just don’t understand thinking that way.

To each their own I suppose.

Last year he scored 21 touchdowns in 14 games and they made it to a Super Bowl.

Every other team not named the Patriots takes that trade off in a heartbeat.
Last year his contract hadn't been in effect.

They are now going to start paying him top money, while also having to lessen his load. No team, especially the Patriots, are taking that trade off this year.

I am not buying this, difficult to believe Jerry would cave now.

Maybe Zeke is the one caving and signing his offer.

My guess is the deal will have all kinds of ways for Dallas to get out of.

The Rams made a mistake with Gurley and now they’re stuck with that deal.

Not only is Zeke a potential injury risk because of the position he plays but he is a suspension risk as well.

Zeke wants money and Dallas most likely wants ways out of the contract.

He got 21 million deposited in his bank account before he took a single snap last year from the new contract.

That counts to me.
