Go ask Naggy about his non basic offense with a highly drafted QB looking horrible. Rogers didn't look better (though the bears defense is a big reason why).

Why is everyone putting so much stock into 1 game? I don't get it.

It's like people fall for this trap every year. A team loses and it's the end of the world.

Good QBs are more difficult, but not that difficult, to find. Average QBs are not.
But what is your argument? That because Mitch is a possible high pick bust that means it's hard? But, somehow Dak being a 4th rounder and doing better than what you'd expect doesn't counter that argument?

I don't think anyone has ever suggested Dak isn't better than what you'd expect from a 4th rounder.

But, you'll also find a huge rate of RBs, WRs, OL, etc. that have high rates of failure as well. But they are all drafted at higher rates.

There were 111 RBs taken in the first 4 rounds in the last 10 years. How many of them were as good as Devonta Freeman?

And...why are you trying to go off on tangents? You started responding to me because I pointed out how off someone was factually on something. And I was 100% correct about that.
“Average QBs are not”

Average STARTING QBs? Um, yeah, actually they are pretty freaking hard to find.

You can plug a RB in and get decent production FAR more often than you can plug a QB in and get decent production.

Literally every year there are a handful of RBs who “came out of nowhere” to produce and produce well. That’s why nobody would’ve been surprised to see Tony Pollard rush for 1,000+ yards had Zeke held out.

The odds of another 4th-round QB performing like Dak Prescott has? Winning 2/3 of his games while being a dual scoring threat with a 96.0 passer rating?

Yeah, good luck with that. That almost NEVER happens.

LOL good QBs aren’t “that difficult” to find though! 2/3 of the league can’t find one to save their lives, but it’s not “that difficult”!!!

Ridiculous.

i'm not. it's 1/16th of the regular season but to this point it's the only game they have played. They have ample time to change that narrative but for now the bears are terrible offensively. Better stay off the boards sunday night and next week as win or lose there will be tons of complaints on how the boys play.

It's a big problem for the Bears though because it's a critical division home game and now to have any chance their season will likely rest on winning a late season game at Lambeau... which, with a healthy Rodgers is usually impossible in that cold.

Dak was 19 of 29 and had a 81QBR that game. He had more yards and a higher COMP % than Cam.
Thus his point... that you goofballs can't wrap your head around.
Dak's worst games are far better than that.

Dak has never backed up and thrown the ball 40 times and had DAL score 3 points or less. EVER.
That was tragic.
24 of 39 for 206 against the Colts and being shut out is pretty bad though.

Hes NOT LUcky,

hes élite and would be EATING no matter where he got drafted

I disagree. Running backs are only as good as their O-line. Just look at our last superstar running back, league leading rusher, that faded into absolute obscurity as soon as he left Dallas. Elliott is over rated, and would not have near the success in most other teams as he has had here.

That will be most of what we see this weekend and the HC's are proving that the preseason is unnecessary because they're not going to risk their players and season for nothing.

Yeah, he is light years better than Dak...……...Haaaaaaaaabaaaaaaaaaaaaa:laugh::lmao::lmao2:

here is one game sample of Dak Prescott

19/34 168 yards 2 picks 54.5 rating

so, does this mean Dak sucks worse? I mean you are using a one game sample. ;)

btw, this is not a Dak vs. TRUBISKY argument, just the idiocy of using a one game sample.

perhaps you had a premature orgasm...its ok, it happens

I wonder the same thing about a lot of the Dak devotees.

I don’t think Dak sucks. I think Dak is the 13th-15th best QB in the NFL. I think most reasonable people feel the same way. I think there are 8 legitimate franchise QBs that can carry their teams to the Super Bowl: Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Mahomes, Wilson, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Ryan.

The Dak “hater” part might come in where I’d take several guys not in the franchise QB category over Dak if I had to hitch my wagon to one: Wentz, Watson, Mayfield, probably Darnold.

The question is whether to make the 13-15th best QB in the NFL the highest paid because his contract is up. I know that’s how the NFL works but that’s not necessarily the right move. Do you think the teams of Stafford, Cousins, and Garropolo are Super Bowl contenders after sinking all that money into their mediocre QBs?
you don't get it my friend....to Dak lovers like the OP...if you don't fawn and drool over dak, it means you think he sucks. there is no in between. its an all or nothing thing with them.

Dak is going to make a lot of people look really stupid this year.
Not that they haven't been looking stupid for 3 years already.
At some point you'd think they'd just shut up and enjoy the wins.
Maybe they'll outgrow the Romo jerseys one day.
I hope so. for his own sake if he want that much money. the best OL in football. zeke perhaps the best RB in football. gallup, cobb, cooper. pollard. and a good defense. if he doesn't become a top 10 QB this year, then I think its time to start looking.

You give Trubisky Zeke and Coop and our Off-line he will look a whole lot better!
Bet on it!

disagree..elite backs can overcome a bad line.. Sanders, Barkey and other have done it and Zeke can..they are not elite because of the line , it makes it easier for sure but doesnt change the fact that they are skilled beforehand..

One thing i'll say about dak is the majority of time he doesn't have that deer in headlights type look that some qb's have. I think confidence is definitely an underrated asset.
