My gut feeling if there is any interest it will involve Jourdan Lewis.
They want picks, not players.

Woods is a “great “ FS?Like Minkah. I just don’t see where he fits in Richard’s defense. We have a great FS in Woods and slot CB in Lewis. We need a box SS (who can tackle and cover some) to replace Heath.

Like I said, barring a super rookie year, yes. Not just because of his lack of experience, it's also because first round picks are so valuable, who knows what position you might need next year in the draft? What if T. Smith's back gives out? What if Cooper's foot gets worse? Etc.
I just don't like giving up first round picks, unless you've got a Deion or such out there, a player that's obviously better than what you have. Don't see that Fitzpatrick is that now...
I'm thinking 2nd, if that is indeed the price. Brown is going to be expensive and Fitz is probably better. Lewis is FA the year after.
Miami is asking a #1. There's no guarantee that they'd take a #2 and even then, Taco and a #2 for someone who isn't a SS isn't worth it.
Minkah Fitzpatrick was one of the league's best slot cornerbacks last year. Cowboys don't need a slot CB at this time. Fitzpatrick is too expensive (Dolphins want at least a 1st rounder). Trading Taco (2017 1st rounder) and a 2nd round pick is too much.
Yeah. No need to give up a 1 but at the same time if we're picking late 20's it's going to be difficult to draft a talent like him at that spot.
Still, I don't do it for a 1. Philly might though.
He's a talent that we don't really have a need for at this time. He doesn't want to play at the SS position that we're in need of.

We need upgrades at both safety spots. Heath and Woods both suck in coverage.

I think a 2nd plus Taco could do this.
He can play safety.does that mean that we will be moving on from Byron Jones. right now we are 4 deep at CB, but need safety help
