Witten TDs should be Jarwin’s

Am I the only one that thinks Jarwin should be getting these TD tosses in the redzone instead of Witten? Witten runs about a 6 second forty and Jarwin is said to be a natural athletic freak. I mean, get Jarwin going and keep him going. We need someone who can run after the catch. Dallas did Witten a favor by letting him come back. WE DON"T NEED HIM! I love Witten but come playoff time I want Jarwin catching those balls. They need to get Jarwin more involved in this offense! Get him ready for the post season. I guess what i'm trying to say is if Kellen Moore would start targeting Jarwin more he could possibly be one of the leagues best TE's. I hate to sound like i'm bashing on Witten but good God he can't run. How many teams would have let him come back? Not many ...rant over

like get 30 yards on a 3rd and 20!? or catch 5 yard TDs and run to the back of the end zone!?

but isn't it up to Dak to throw to the open man? if Jarwin is open (ala giants game), Dak finds him. Dak has shown he will spread the ball around and tries to get it to the open man and pushes it down field.....so not sure what you are complaining?

no, witten doesn't sprint to the back of the end zone and jump up the wall....we need run after TD catches

Does it matter who gets the TDs? What we should be excited is that we have has many TDs with TE then we did all of last year.

Witten in 3 Games - 2 TDs

I’m right there with you. Witten is a viable option on very short routes but he can’t block (at all) and he can’t run, but yet he is playing a majority of the snaps just like I knew he would do. It’s maddening.

Witten has played well. Red zone TDs are much more about getting open in tight spaces than running fast. Blocking also helps in giving you a favorable matchup when you do go out. Jarwin doesn't give us much as a blocker, run or pass. Witten does.

I’m right there with you. Dak had to make some perfect throws due to Witten being covered like flies on poop. Jarwin would actually be more open on a lot of those plays. He’s doing nothing Jarwin isn’t capable of doing.
