What more can Dak do to win some over?

It's all about your expectations. If your expectations are high, then it's a justifiable standard.
If you're Cleveland Browns or Detroit Lions fans, then your expectations are "Hey, my quarterback at least has a winning record in the regular season." ;)

By the way, did you mean to say "crayons"?

It's not about expectations at all, judging QB performance simply off of team accolades highlights a true lack of football knowledge and knowledge in general.

You thinking Bradshaw was better than Marino doesn't justify this high horse perception you've put yourself on. As I said you can easily spot those guys from a mile away.

Get better with decision making...….there were some reads that had guys like Zeke open in the flat....get better with pocket awareness....despite the OL issues, his movement in the pocket leads him right into a sack sometimes......take off running a little quicker when something isn't there, but slide or get out of bounds.....and simply continue to improve on the accuracy. Not too much to ask for a soon to be high paid QB. In fairness, coaching may not be helping him in these areas too well. Not a slight on Dak….I'm pulling for him.

Was having a conversation with a friend, and we just wound up wondering out loud what more is there he can do? (other than win sb's etc)

Guys been practically on fire since Amari arrived, he's near the top in almost all statistical categories, (not just volume numbers) he's still running when need be, and he's attacking the middle of the field, and deep, when that was the biggest complaint. He's thrown plenty of beautiful strikes this year so far... so what else can he do? Honest question.

I admit that I was ready to start looking for a new quarterback during last season's 3-5 start. Dak was having some truly horrific games during that stretch following a mediocre 2017. I also admit that I preferred, and still do, that Dallas hold off on any contract until he plays a whole season at the same level he did in 2016 or the second half of 2018.

However, other than a few throws behind receivers that he needs to work on, he's playing at a franchise level so far this year. He's fourth in passing yards, while having the third-best completion percentage among the QBs in the top 10 and being tied with Mahomes at the No. 1 spot among that group with a 9.4 average. His 80.6 QBR is the highest in the league. (If you prefer not to go by ESPN's QBR, he's fifth in QB rating at 106.0).

Those who deny that either have their minds made up or have their expectations too high for what a franchise QB looks like.

He can't do anything. Biases are set. Now it is just about twisting everything to fit the narrative.

1. Win a Super Bowl

2. Eli/Flacco playoff run

This is absolutely hilarious..you think Dak sucks..but to prove to you that he doesn't suck, you want him to go on a short run and win a super bowl like 2 previous qbs who actually do suck, to prove to you that he doesn't suck

Hahahahahahah...you can't script it any better than this

this is how I feel almost verbatim. 16 was a long time ago. 17 was a mixed bag so I wanted to reserve judgement for year 3. Boy he lost me, completely. Then came Amari and since that point I don’t see how you can deny he’s played at a franchise level and then some.

Dak has won me over. He pulls the trigger much faster and is much more accurate, especially long. I'm honestly shocked that *any* QB can improve that much in a single offseason.

He's a running QB who has never missed a game, and now he's an accurate passer too. He's resembling Wilson more than superficially now.

I've wanted us to churn running QBs until we found one that is a passer too. Looks like we've found him. Sign him.

There are some that Dak will never win over, until he wins a SB.
That being said I have seen a lot of improvement over this past off season and hope he continues working on the fundamentals instead of relying too much on his athletic ability. That is what killed Dez's career.

Dak has improved more than I thought possible of any QB in a single offseason. Sign him.

When he hits WRs in stride that are wide open, quits holding it too long, and quits forcing into coverage when let’s say...the RB is standing there in the flat for an easy 8-10....and finally wins a championship too...there,I think that about covers it. That’s the truth...that’s the list is it not? People will keep going down the pecking order till he checks each and all box’s. Fair enough....I’ll take Dak on the long shot odds. It may not pretty,,but doesn’t anyone want to see Rocky knock out Apallo anymore? I do....

He doesn't need to improve, just maintain after the monster deal. Not asking a lot. Dez couldn't do it. Jay Ratliff, Roy Williams, Roy E Williams, Brandon Carr, Miles Austin... you guys have a bit of a history of being a retirment home. Zeke, Jaylon, and Dlaw haven't exactly been what they were when they were trying to get the money, but way too early to judge those.

Just keep being Dak after getting 200m over 5 years, and he'll be alright.

NOTHING! Dak could lead this team to the Super Bowl and those that hate him now, will continue to hate him. It happened to Romo too.

Honest question.
If you are the starting QB for the Dallas Cowboys it's all about one thing and one thing only.
