Dak is a tough Son of a Gun

I fear that other teams will hit Dak with their helmets too since the refs didn't call it today. I hope Jerry complains or at least brings attention to it with the New York clowns.

We get called for one little horse collar and they let Dak get killed the rest of the game. How may flare would have been called for roughing if it was brady...

But hey if Maher would have hit that last chop shot after the 60 yarder we would be talking different..

Yes, I really wish we could have protected him better. I wanted to see if he could take the team and put it on his back, tough to do while you're on your own.

Lets see Dak take those hits when he is the Age Romo was at the end. Better yet lets see him take a shot to the chest break some ribs puncture his lung and then come back to play in the same game. I agree with you Dak is tough but to knock Romo as not being tough is just plain idiotic. Romo took those hits too at 26-27-28 and got up, as he got older he couldn't and neither will Dak as he gets older if he gets pounded like that

I'm not a fan of Dak.. but he took some shots today.. should have been a lot of flags but to his credit.. he kept standing in the pocket.

I don't think Dak being tough has anything to do with Romo being tough.. both took hits.

Probably the best element of Dak is his ability to take hits.

...give me $30+mill a year, and I'll be dogging bullets.. ;)...

But he didn’t knock Romo for being tough. You just read it that way lol.

You may be right i re-read his post but still the comparison was a 25 /26 year old being able to take a hit better than a 36/37 year old. If Dak couldn't take the hit better it would be worriesome. Either way like them or hate them both are/were very tough QB's

Dak would be in his best interest sliding more....this is the NFL.

Not a fan ok Dak and still questionable of him as a franchise quarterback but he showed some real guts today and I have sort of a new respect for him. . Normally when he is hit early and often like that he becomes erratic and plays that way the rest of the game. Today he still was accurate for the most part and kept on fighting. Three drops by Gallup and one by Witten didn't help him any and I feel the refs let him take vicious hits late but if you are not Brady, Brees, Rodgers, are Rivers you are not going to get those calls normally but he kept getting up and roughed it out.

Dak has had it easy consistently being in the top of the league in time to throw.

Romo took that punishment on weekly basis....

Dak has shown nothing relative to Romo’s toughness.

Well Romo was getting hurt long before his 36 year old birthday though.

Romo just handed over the clipboard by the time he got Dak’s age and he surely wasn’t taking a beating when he came in. That 2009 season is when those beatings started to occur....or whenever they decided to get Nate Livings and Bernadeaux.
