Why would Lincoln Riley take a demotion and come here?
The Sooners coaching gig is more desirable .

That he let JG go into this season as a lame duck suggests to me that even the old man is (finally) having doubts about his Chosen One™.
I LOVE LAMP
Your kidding yourself if you don't think Harbaugh has his hand in everything concerning Michigan football.
Why?
The Cowboys are the premier sports franchise in the US.
Jarwin is a JAG.Pull Jason Witten off the roster and make him the HC. This would also keep him from being a progress stopper to Jarwin.
1. The cowboys are not college.
2. In the NFL. Harbaugh took over a losing team and in 4 seasons, he went to the NFC title game 3 times and made it to a Super Bowl.
Perhaps you should focus more on his NFL experience than his stint at Michigan.
Lincoln Riley is the popular choice but Matt Campbell would be a sneaky good hire.NO reputable NFL coach will come here unless they get the control they want. Parcells was the last to get any kind of control and even then JJ forced Owens on him when he didn't want him. Jerry's next hire will be a college coach who wants to try and make it in the NFL
Bob Stoops is my dream pick...I agree.Everyone is saying Riley, and I'd be excited for that, but what about the guy who rebuilt that program, Bob Stoops? Think he's been gone too long? This is just for fun. Literally just thought of it.
I think the guy in Washington would be a hell of a candidate too. He's been successful everywhere regardless of talent level.
Yes.Riley would represent someone in the Mcvay Mold. Young offensive minded coach who may be able to do big things with this offense. Again anyone not garret to me is an upgrade. Defense you do that same thing the rams did, hire a defensive guy with experience. Although i wouldn't mind still giving richard a shot to run it full time.
Does Riley have the personality to deal with the Dallas big market? Don't know as much about him as some of you probably do.
To make money off of not to be a coach for.
No matter who you hire Jerry and Stephen are going to be on the radio giving away football business and getting in the way of football operations.
The premier sports franchise should have something to show for it but this one doesn't and it has had a ton of talented players.
I can't imagine any scenario where a young coach who believes in himself and has a plan to run a team and win would want to make compromises to put up with the Jones nonsense.
