This is the thing. I mean, for all the "Wins are the most meaningless Stat" folks, it's still the overriding measure of the sport. You can have the best position player at any position in the league but if you aren't winning, does it really matter? Is anybody associated with the team happy? You can take measure from the Players, to the owners, to the fans. Nobody is happy if you don't win.
I can't figure it out either...
The QB is either a game manager who came into a very good situation/roster and benefitted from it his first year but not necessarily great ifndividual stats in his second and third year... OR
To present where his won loss record is not so hot but empty stats are much better than those previous years when he was winning more games.
Soooo...
Is he a game manager who needs total personnel support to be effective and accumulate wins guy OR
Is he an elite carry the team guy while also winning and accumulating stats guy?
Someone please help me understand. And also that blurry line where those elite ones kinda cover over alot of certain warts on a team and then given a lion share of the supposed team credit when winning and then when losing it becomes a huge matter of all about team game and everyone doing their job
I always get confused on the double standards angle
Which is he?...
