Most fans would agree we need more Elite coaching but is it an option under Jerry?

Is Jerry still intent on proving he can win without a great HC receiving more credit than he did with Jimmy?

And even if Jerry did want to pursue a more Elite HC would one be willing to deal with his meddling?

It should be an option, but Jerry cares more about cash flow and getting the full credit should Garrett luck into actually winning something.

Correct!

How does that effect how we’d address our coaching situation ?

If coaching isn’t a priority then what would be our next best solution to more success?

No it's not an option. The wealthiest franchise in the world doesn't have the best coaching staff with no salary cap for coaches. That should tell you enough about what Jerry thinks about coaching.

Urban or Lincoln?...Jerry is from OK..played college football there, won a National Championship there & apparently speaks w Lincoln on a weekly basis

Who u rather?

Who knows?

I do think he would want a big name. Helps sell tickets.
You think Jerry is willing now to let a big name HC come in and steal his thunder taking more credit like Jimmy did?

If that’s true. What’s he waiting for?

He can hire elite coaching and money whip anyone on the planet to come here for the $$ & prestige of coaching the Cowboys but they'll never perform at an elite level because the organizational structure and culture jeri insists upon is too big of a hurdle to overcome in the modern NFL constrained by parity & the salary cap

Sooner or later he's going to figure out Jason Garrett isn't going to take this team anywhere.

He's 77 years old. Time is running out for him. If he wants one mor championship, he has to make a change. There is no other way.

I have no idea if Urban Meyer is the right guy or not. I just know Jason Garrett is not

Friendly FYI-

jeri is from Arkansas, when to the University of Arkansas and won a national championship there, not OU

I cant speak to whether jerry speaks to Lincoln on a weekly basis and am perplexed how you or anyone not extremely close to him would know this

Until we have 3-4 consecutive seasons of 6-10 or worse, Jerry is content on his new yacht and the illusion of a winning team...

Anyone who thought Jerry was from OU discredits any thoughts. Lol

Yes. Offer Bill Cower the same deal Oakland offered Chucky.
