sorry to hear about the surgeries
but hope u get better soon...hope u have someone feeding u like @daboyzruleperiod

I thank you for the kind wishes.... I will be fine..... Just bettering myself for later. At my age I need to find ways to extend my life and make it more of quality and longevity. Call it mid life crisis or what not, but at 43 yrs old I want to see my adult children prosper and who knows, maybe spoil a few grandchildren some day... LOL Either way this surgery was for getting better and continuing my work and health. Was a long time coming and I finally found a way....

You might find this funny or TMI, but feeding myself was never the issue.... TBH it was bathing and cleaning myself for the first 3 days.... With my left shoulder being injured and not fixed, if left a void when the right hand was wrapped with 6 inches of gauze and bandages to do anything with it. Now I just wear a bandage on the hand and can reach everything and am doing well.... The next surgery will not limit me as much being I have full use of the right hand and shoulder. No longer am I the stinky one here.... That falls on another... lol

Hoping for a speedy recovery DB.

I thank you for the kind words.... Speedy is surely becoming a thing now that I lost the wraps of my right hand.... Will be much better when the stitches are removed on the 28th. Until then I am still playing it safe. ;)

Sleeping it off, wanna keep it down? But it's time to open the kennel for some hair of the dog.

Sir after Sunday night's debacle with the Jets, I think we we all needed some hair of the dog.... Luckily tonight I can finally drink after running out of Vicodin yesterday. I may be screaming for such myself tomorrow morning... lol..... Thanks for the laugh and being a loyal member of the drunkards we have become... BTW, Putty doesn't drink so feel free to abuse the early bird early and often.... LMAO

As for all you other ladies and gents, Thank you all for the kind PMs and whatnot. You guys are truly like family.... Thanks for keeping me positive and looking forward. Just like a real family, we may disagree with things in our beliefs, but we all stand together in times of need. Thank you for making me feel like one of the crew and treating me as such... I will take a page from Ranching and say Salud to you all....

BTW....still thinking salud is taken out of context...... I do not know in Latin it means health, wealth, and security which I wish for all of you.... Just not sure if I am using it right.... Sorry....

i still remember being in the ICU for 10 days. the most incredible feeling was having my hair washed after about 6 days in with some strange type of bag over my head. it was literal ecstasy. then the next item was able to shower. wow the little pleasures we take for granted. finally 6 months after the hospital and 1 month off the liquid diet, i had an in-n-out burger. believe it or not, that was number 1 on my life-restart bucket list

Sadly I was a one day surgery victim...... While sponge baths may be great, I was not there long enough to find out.... With my luck it would be washed by a guy 6'5 tall weighing 340lbs named Bubba..... I'd rather take my chances on tender with a female, willing to look past my necrotic obsessions.... lol....... As far as In-N-Out Burger, please find me a What-A-Burger or better yet a Weinersnitchel since we are talking south west America.....Hell even Jack In The Box and Del Taco is better than the crap we have on the east coast... Steak -N-Shake is yet another we are without here in VA. Only thing we have to look forward to is Sonic and Dairy Queen with their blizzards and slushies......

the only fast food i liked in the east coast was the arthur treacher fish and chips, but my understanding is that they barely survived and went way downhill.
never had weinersnitchel
i am in los angeles this moment, so not sure how u count that...

I'm just glad it was sent to DaBoyz and not you my friend.... She will let him down easy unlike you..... I imagine you using artillery, followed by infantry, and finished off with a military boot to the hind parts...

Sorry Putty buddy.... In a playful mood.... Been making havoc the past few hours in the off topic section.... Figured I would chime in here and pick on a few but the tavern is empty so far...

So what new plans to you have to further the rat issues? After hearing how the walls are, I fear poison..... They may die and stink up the place if still in the walls....
