Oh, btw, from the Echo (a Bournemouth newspaper): https://www.___GET_REAL_URL___/s/www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/17999374.amp/

A Cherries supporter won £1500 after laying £10 on the line for the match.

I'd love to see Bournemouth, Soton (assuming they manage to survive), and Pompey in the Premier League before long. And I think Cherries fans like myself and Pompey can agree that Soton are gits and deserved to lose 9 nil.
Sadly, we are a mile away from the top flight. We are at least 1 and a half seasons away from the Championship and that is a ridiculously difficult division to get promoted from.

Not to worry, if you manage to get promoted, Soton might meet you in the middle.

This is more realistic at the moment and what I am currently hoping for. I'd quite like to see a prem one day that included Scum, Us, You, Reading and Brighton. That would be mental.

If you didn't see the Everton v Tottenham game, I hope you're not queezy when watching the highlights of the game.

Ugly, unlucky injury. Son certainly didn't intend to injure Gomes, but that intentional foul ended up with unintended consequences. I agree with the red card. I keep reading "experts" claim it should just be a yellow because you penalize the foul and not the result(injury). I disagree. The resulting injury only occurred because of the foul. There have to be repercussions.

I agree. It has to be a straight red for that. I feel for both players involved. I feel for the injured player of course. That had to be absolutely excruciating, and it must've been shocking to him with how it happened. I can't imagine having that happen. Let that injury be a lesson to anyone that questions football. Injuries in football can be absolutely horrible. Especially on challenges like that.

I also have to feel some sympathy towards Son. He usually plays very clean and I've got a lot of respect for him. He's one of the best lads I the Premier League. I can't imagine how that must plague him mentally now, and he'll probably have to replay that challenge and injury in his mind for the rest of his life. It was horrible watching him sob as he left the pitch. I can't imagine what must've been going through his mind as well as the poor chap that got injured. However, he has to be held accountable for what he did, and I don't think even he will disagree with being sent off. He can't be reckless like that.

I just think it's a pity, on another note, that the player for Seattle, a team known for being dirty, didn't get sent off for what he did to Hurns. I know it's a different sport, but that challenge in the playoffs with us was equally bad, and that was deliberate. Just my take on that. I think I the NFL, if you commit a horrendous challenge and it results in a horrendous injury that the player should be sent off.

I sort of want to see Jerry buy a club like Arsenal or Tottenham. That'd really be interesting to see how he markets that.
