Exactly Right. Its been of my opinion that the chargers and Rivers always fly under the Radar. Media is hands off on that team in terms of underachieving.

Rivers is a great talent but wildly inconsistent and a whiner of all whiners

Rivers actually had a very good year in 2018. He's definitely having some struggles this year though.

No, Skip is playing the character of a Cowboys superfan. We know from his own twitter account that he's not really a Cowboys fan, so all this shilling for Dak is just to drive ratings.

They've been under performing for over a decade. The Super Chargers never materialized.

hes in his 4th year way early to answer any of these.. the comp was not the OP point, its when a highly regarded QB spits the bit he doesnt get as much attention or negative blowback as Dak..

Rivers is NOT a lock for the HOF not first ballot, hes in consideration but he really hasn't done much more then Romo did and neither made it to a SB..

I always considered Rivers and Romo the same type of Qb although Rivers had a little more playoff success.

Rivers was 17 of 31 (54.8 completion percentage) for 207 yards with 2 TDs and 3 ints. for a 57.5 rating. Thankfully, Prescott hasn't had a game like that this season. But ...

Last year, against Seattle during the regular season, he was 19 of 34 (55.9) for 168 yards, 1 TD and 2 ints. for a 54.5 rating. A few games later against Houston, he was 18 of 29 (62.1) for 208 yards, 1 TD and 2 ints. for a 66.5 rating. In 2017, he actually had a game, big loss to Philly, where he had a 30.4 rating ... and he had two more that year in the 50s.

Skip Bayless is a reactionary who is rarely right. Those type of games happen to every quarterback. Brady had one in 2018 (48.3) and 2017 (59.5) just for comparison's sake.

Phillip Rivers has been to an AFC Championship and would have been to another had a stupid defensive back had taken a knee after intercepting a pass and kneeled instead of running around and getting the ball knock out of his hands only to give the ball back to the Patriots.

When Dak gets to a NFC Championship, then, maybe, he gets a reprieve.

But, again, The Cowboys are a different franchise than the Chargers. We expect MORE from our quarterbacks.

Skip brings this crap onto himself. If he was declaring how awesome Rivers was multiple times per day every week like he does for Dak and the Cowboys in general, then Rivers and the Chargers would openly get slammed by Shannon and the guests they bring on. It would be part of the narrative of the show just like Dak and Dallas are now.

Yes. I hope they do go back to SD and let the Rams stay in LA. LA can handle having one team. I don't like the idea of two teams there unless they expand teams yet.

Back in the 80's the Rams and Raiders were in LA
As for the Chargers I agree with you, they should be in SD. I don't think the move to LA will work.
