This thread needs more posts. This is the main reason we lost because we couldn't stop them! They couldn't tackle anybody. Hot Boys? More like Fraud Boys

Giving up runs of 14 yds, 6 yrds 12 yds, 17 yds, and 17 yds...66 yards on 5 rushes in one series is ridiculous The Hot Boyz were more like the lame boyz.

Any time a unit names themselves, you know it ain't worth crap.

Please do...I’m sick of this scheme. It’s not working. They got pressure....big deal. Where’s the plays? You need big plays,and some form run defense between goal lines. They part huge gaps and then follow it up with high tackling? Whatever....

The problem was Coach Zimmer said the game plan was to not let Dallas run the ball against them. Zeke rushed for 47 yards in the game, his lowest total ever or close to it. They stacked the line and were keying on Zeke, there is no way they should have run there. The Dallas offensive line is no longer able to dominate good defensive lines, as I said there is no way they should have been running Zeke there. The 4th down pass was just mind boggling, but it should not have come to that.

One of the common themes of the Garrett era is the inability to adjust to what the other team decided to stopping.

It's like Garrett just says "Darn it, I was really hoping to establish the run this week. Well, maybe next week."

When teams commit to stopping a certain aspect, they are vulnerable in others. How do we not exploit that, ever?

Yep, for the most part this season is most likely over. I guess the trend of no back to back winner of the division will continue.

We won't but this is the move I would make tonight:

Bring in Marinelli, give him a chance to step down.
Fire him if he refuses.
"Promote" Kris Richard to DC for remainder of this season.
Bring in Greg Schiano to serve as "Defensive Consultant."

It's cut throat but it's needed. This defense needs a Rick James to Charlie Murphy slap-in-the-face wake-up call.

That’s what I keep looking at. I don’t see a solid run defense..or enough plays being made backfield to compensate. They are giving up way to much room,and this flailing arm tackling stuff is not close to playoff caliber requirements.

Who would we bring in if we did a coach purge? That’s 3 coaches fired (Rod, Garrett, and Richard). It’d be hard to recover from such a hardcore purge. I’m not saying we shouldn’t do it, but we need to research people best for the job before we walk into something that impactful.

Hawks coach acts as a GM also. He is loyal to KR, but wanted to change the DC. Felt KR was too aggressive.

Come on dude, Head coaches and GM’s don’t let good coaches get away because their jobs depend on them. If Pete wanted Nen Norton, it’s because he wasn’t happy with Richard. Based on what I am seeing, I’m not either.

Kris Richard is garbage. Him and Rod essentially share the duties of DC. He also put Brown over Lewis. Lewis may not be a superstar CB, but he’s better than Brown and Richard has a stupid “5’11 or up” philosophy. They also rarely blitzed this game and pressured Cousins before he could even get the screen out. He deserves to be fired too.

There isn't one coach that should remain when we waste yet another season. Not one. Not old man Marinelli, or the experiment that is the "genius" Kellen Moore, or the tenured fake head coach.
