For their social media brand sake they better find someone who has real football insights who has worked with team in past. The rest of that group on Talkin Cowboys are ordinary in every sense.

I agree. They'll miss someone with the technical insight that Broaddus brought. I often disagreed with his takes and scouting, but he brought information and knowledge that most of the others don't.

If he was let go cause he was critical that’s a big problem. I always thought JJ didn’t care about the criticism..... but to now see how petty he could be is really bad.

cant have it both ways if your JJ. Your a big reason for such a long playoff drought and now you want to be mad when people criticize?

I like the lunch break podcasts more... but occasionally listened to talking cause of Broaddus. His insight was great.

Bryan has called out this team on the way it was ran .. he has called out JG calling for him to be fired since 2013. He has called out player after player and done so since he started this gig. Think it was deeper than that, had to have been.

And he would be right. I can't even imagine what kind of circus goes on behind the scenes there....but you see signs of it on game day...and around the stadium. AT&T stadium is more shopping mall than it is a football stadium. Sad he decided to go...but I imagine a person can only take so much buffoonery before it gets to you.

As my wife tell me about the 70's you can move on from those days because they are not coming back, these 2 old guys can move on from the 90's they are not coming back.

Take notice of Broaddus twitter posts and responses today. One of the names to reach out was Tim McMahon. McMahon was the guy that publicly called out Jerry Jones for being a terrible GM. Afterwards, he was exiled from covering the Cowboys. That was a clear case of censorship in practice. Maybe this one is as well.

Something tells me Brian lands where Ben & Skin land. Just a hunch.

So the only thing worth reading on DallasCowboys.com is no longer going to be there for the fans. They should shut that site down. Not that I always agreed with Broaddus, but at least he tried to have an intelligent perspective on the Xs and Os instead of giving us more Mickey Homer pabulum.

Well, that site used to be fun to go to......:(. But I'm glad to be on this site.

The rest of the talking heads in the Cowboys media department need to watch what they say. The hammer is coming down on those that cross the line. I already mentioned this would be happening last week.

It’s a shame. Broaddus actually knew some football. When him and Nate were both on the show at same time it was it’s best.

Mickeys just a troll and the other guys are just radio guys. Not much football knowledge.

A troll? He's been the Boys beat writer since the late 80's. He knows football. You guys just hate his personality.

Lol. I remember on the old boards we had a member called the emperor who had his own pod cast and eventually got on as a writer for someone. Was interviewing Cowboys players... Haven’t heard from him in a long time. I used to call in and be a guest on his show...
Wasn't there a guy by the name of JUMBO who did that as well?

One can know football and also be a troll. We have a few of those around here.

Mickey is 100% party line. He never criticized the organization, ever. So therefore he will be gainfully employed indefinitely.

As for Bryan, we all saw this coming. Something happened in the past week, and it was something behind the scenes. I suspect (but have no evidence) that it had something to do with Ámbar; she was his understudy but the chemistry was off recently. Not saying it was anything bad, could have just been that they didn’t get along.

I doubt it was his criticism of the team; he has been doing that for awhile and he hasn’t said anything inflammatory recently that would register, certainly nothing more than he has said in the past.
