Kind of a waste to me without actual video to see what is actually happening.
He mentioned he is trying to figure out the legalities of posting NFL plays on youtube.
He did this 2 weeks in a row now.

I mean he could just be making the whole thing up. I would find it weird considering he works for a legit sports operation to make a video where he just completely makes it all up.

I believe him that he sees it that way, but want to see it for myself. It would have been better if he at least showed a few stills of each play unfolding.

I suspect some people won't like the truth.
Its not because Zeke is slow, fat, unmotivated, or lost it.

This is the second week in a row this guy speaks about the run plays and why they failed.

Let's go jumbo with 3 TEs who can't block.

"Next man up!"

We can be so unbelievably dumb. I wish we'd actually go jumbo sometimes with a T as blocking TE. Maybe 2. Our depth is on the oline. We should use it.

Note that poor play calling and scheme does *not* mean that Zeke isn't slow, fat, or unmotivated.

Zeke can run when we have a blocker for every defender in the box? That's not a big thrill. That's the defense giving you the run.

He should call Kellen Moore right now.

When the offense stacks the box they are just creating a traffic jam. Hard to find a free lane in a traffic jam. I've been saying that for five years now. I hate jumbo packages.

How many times have we heard commentators say, "hugh hole for Zeke" this year versus years past?

Skip Bayless said Zeke is number 2 in the league in the amount of runs on 1st downs and 27th in ypc on 1st downs..

First 3 games, we ran on 1st down 30% of the time. Won 3 games. That was the big difference in the offense coming out this year. Passing on 1st down.

Against Saints and Vikes, we kept failed runs on 1st down while passing on 1st down worked every time.

We probably win 2 or 3 more games if we just did what was working on 1st down.

Our fans have to blame someone now that Dak is playing up to their "standards". Zeke fits that criteria unfortunately. If he has a 100+ yard game again, they'll find someone else to blame .

Pollard has a 100 yard game on 13 attempts. Is he elite?
Pollard 4.7 ypc
Zeke 4.3 ypc

And, by the way,
Austin 11.0

Seems like the oline can run block for players not named Zeke. Maybe we should give them the ball more often.

I've been saying it longer!

The problem with our "jumbo" packages is that they're made up of players who aren't jumbo and are meh blockers.

We have depth on the oline. How about 3 extra olinemen for our jumbo package? How about some Trystan Hill playing FB like he did in college?

Fill the field with big boys and let Dak, Zeke, and Cooper handle the ball on wide open edges against isolated defenders. Dak is great throwing on the run and can run it himself. Dak on the roll should be the weapon of choice at the goal line.

Could be in theory.
We have evidence of the line play being bad. Still waiting on the evidence of Zeke being bad.

Pollard is having similar success to Zeke running behind the same oline. Also rbs that have a worse oline are outperforming Zeke.

We are stubbornly committed to trying to run behind 3 TEs that can’t block well... shocking that we have more success when we get into a balanced formation that could go run or pass.

The bottom line is that to this point Schultz and Jarwin are liabilities in the ground game, Witten is old, and our OL is compromised by age and injury. Zeke is also under-performing and is more hesitant to the hole and lacks the burst he had three years ago.

true but the major problem is none of our TEs can block.

He is likely waiting for the station's attorney to sign off in it.

Pollard has 2 carries per game. Zeke had 11 carries in the last game on first down alone. This is a clear running down for this offense.

Which RB's with worse OL's are outperforming Zeke? How do you know they are worse at run blocking? Where is the proof of this?

Zeke is on pace to have a better year than Emmitt Smith had in the majority of his years in the league.

Pollard gets about 2 carries per game.
Zeke is getting the majority of his carries on obvious running downs. I believe he had 11 carries on 1st down last week.

As a fan base we should be smart enough at this point to not actually believe you can take Pollards 2 carries and extrapolate them out and believe this.

Believing the OL can run block for players with different names does nothing to disprove what the video states. This guy watched all the runs for the last 2 games and the conclusion was the line struggled big time.
You clearly don't like that conclusion.

Which game is this stat from exactly? And are these purely rushing yards/attempts or his receiving yards as well? They don’t use Pollard much in the backfield as much as they use him when they run screens or even use him as a receiver in a gadget type play.

He’s talking about it without actually showing the play.

It’s apparent to me the oline is getting beat up in the run game but zeke isn’t making people miss either. It’s the rbs job to make something happen too. I will also add our coaches don’t know how to run the ball without our oline completely dominating.

They are all to blame.
