I think the Cowboys COULD be competitive against the Seahawks. I think they get blown out by the 49ers.
Seattle/Wilson has revenge for last year so that's a problem. The only possible way to win against either team is if there's an earthquake that takes out both the whole west coast. I wouldn't mind seeing the rams go into the ocean as well.

Don't want Seattle again, and it's time we revived that long-dormant rivalry. Surely many a Cowboys or Niners fan has been itching for the good old 1970s-1990s of white+silver vs. red+gold.
Sure, if you really want to see Jerry's face turn deep red in anger. They aren't the same team we played in the last few years.

Nah, I think they match up well with the Seahawks. I don't think they'll win because of the revenge factor but I doubt it wouldn't be close.

The 49ers game is over at halftime.

why would you doubt it after we just got embarrassed by a worse team in the Bille?

I believe he's thinking if we make the playoffs it will be because we improved not because Philly sucked worse.

There have been multiple examples of non-derserving play off teams doing serious damage in the post-season.

The difference is they are usually WC entries, and some played their best ball given post-season life.

While I agree we likely get beat by SF OR SEA, I'm hesitant to give the team zero chance.

I think we present some problems for SF especially. Zeke owns them to date in his career.

I think we lose a close game 27-24, because that's what this Cowboys do against the best teams in their schedule. Play them tough but lose.

Best example of this is the 2011 Giants. They were among the worst teams in the league that year in many statistical categories, yet still won the Super Bowl.

Not saying Dallas will do the same, but just saying that the bar for "legit SB contender" is awfully low.

Green Bay was on the verge of playoff elimination their SB year. As were the Ravens before winning it all.

Arizona was 8-8 or 9-7 and nearly won it all as well. Seattle eliminated NO as a 7-9 Div Champ as well, and played the eventual NFC Champs Bears hard for 3 Qtrs. before bowing out.

That would be awful! The Cowboys are no match for the 49rs. We cant even beat the Packers who were completely embarrassed by the 49rs. Dak has some nice stats but he wouldnt be able to throw for 100 yds against that defense. Zeke would have negative yards rushing.

So, to confirm, if we play San Francisco in the playoffs, we'd have less than 100 yards total offense? Significantly less, by your take? Is that what you're saying?

San Fran might run for 300 yards against us so id rather play Seattle. If we played San Fran it’d be rams game all over again. We can at least score with Seattle.

Jimmy G might win still the MVP away from Lamar if he played us. And that’s against the rules lol...

why would you want a team that would beat us by something like 41-6 or 38-9 ? We sure aren’t scoring any TDS against them

Plus, my dad is a 49er fan. I’ve already heard enough crap this year. That would send it over the top and might cause division on our otherwise great relationship.
