Garrett did not outcoach McVay. This was clearly a case of Dak killing almost every play KM called and correcting the play to what he sees from his reads of the Rams defense. It's why the run game was dominant and KM's passing game was stiffled. The biggest passing plays were to RBs and TEs.

If Garrett isn't doing anything then it is like two guys trying to pull something heavy but only one guy is actually pulling while the other guy is standing on the side clapping

If the object successfully gets pulled should the second guy get credit? No, the object got pulled despite him. If the object does not successfully get pulled should he get blamed? Yes, because he didn't do anything to help the situation.

This is the reason we dominated the game?

Why did Dak wait so long to start doing this?

How would I know the answer to that question? But you saw the game. How many times was Dak yelling "kill, kill, kill"? Damn near every play.

And Coach....PREVENTED him from killing plays? I mean a coach COULD do that, right? Worst case, if it's outright defiance pull him. Make no mistake...the coach gives the QB authority to do that. Dak has earned it.

But for people like you.....gotta put JG's face in the dirt every chance you can can get, regardless of how illogical it is. Regardless of how LITTLE you actually know about football and specifically what get's done in the war room. You just know every thing automatically and without effort or credentials..... I am sure.

are you this foolish King, first of all, he didn't kill every play. also, don't you know its the qb job to read the defense and get the team into the right play. they get two plays in the huddle. Did you also know Brees does the same thing in New Orleans...lol

We basically ran the same gameplan we always run: feed Zeke early on offense and play off on defense. It just so happened that the Garrett formula worked this week and he didn't need to change it, cause bad things happen when we are forced off our game plan.

The best thing we did schematically yesterday was avoid first down handoffs. Surprisingly for a game where our backs carried it 30+ times, we passed it a lot more than we ran it on 1st (at least while the game was still competitive) and called LOTS of play action. The Rams were biting like crazy on it and gave us the TE boot-crosser whenever we wanted it. It was a nice wrinkle to counteract our usual early-down tendencies.

That is the key, and I've been saying the same thing all season. But some people are taking the wrong lessons from that game.

JG doesn't do anything in the war room but flirts with Charlotte and welcome new draft picks to the team over the phone. A coach with a clue might prevent Dak from killing every play he doesn't like but JG clearly doesn't do that to Dak. Maybe it is because Dak has earned it but that doesn't negate the fact how clueless JG is as a coach. BTW, thank you for recognizing that I automatically know everything without effort. It's true.

Dak actually does that every game. Some more than others.
Yes but most games he is killing a run for a pass. In the Rams game, he was killing mostly pass plays to give the ball to Zeke. It was good to see how Dak wouldn't let KM give up on the run.

We aren’t certain of the plays he killed.

Foolish? Of course he didn't kill every play which is why I said "almost". Of course I know that is the QB's job which is why I was praising Dak for doing it. Of course I know they get two plays in the huddle but its good to know you know that too. Of course I already knew Drew Brees does the same thing. Did you know Peyton Manning would do the same thing when he was a player?

Please don't attempt to speak for me when you say, "we". Or do you have a frog in your pocket?
We is used to describe us. As in we the people. Not just you and I.

Let me rephrase my statement. There is no evidence what plays were killed.

Maybe it's a lot to expect you to follow but if you know what Dak is looking at and then observe what Dak opted to change the play to, it isn't so hard to figure out which plays are getting killed. I'm sorry if you don't have that ability but once again you are trying to include me in your club of limited observation.

Unless you’re able to provide evidence of the plays killed then it’s mere speculation.

And you’re entitled to your own observation and summary of such.

I’m not disputing it . I’m just suggesting uncertainty without more evidence.
