ESPN just ran a breaking news scroll across the bottom of the Tennessee-Indiana game:

"Cowboys decide Garrett will no longer be part of organization."

Amazing how delicately they have to word this to make sure Garrett's feelings don't get hurt.

are we totally sure??

This feels like a series of events that culminate into a conclusion, like it starts then eventually goes to a point. I wish there was a word for it.

Must mean we’re hiring some unknown dark horse... not sure if that’s good or not tho

There is a dark horse I been thinking about. Especially after some comments he made on TV over the weeks . . . Bill Cowher.

I personally don't want him because I think the game has passed him by. But I would not put it past Jerry. And Bill has said some interesting things during broadcasts that made me think he may be trying for the job.

I can tell you this much. Cowher would run the ball. But no thanks.

The way they are talking about it on ESPN right now it better be real. Otherwise Ed is going to look real bad

That's why I think it's most likely legit because if Werder was just 50% sure etc he would have deleted the tweet and then told ESPN to cool it with all of the breaking news and talk that's been happening.

I think what is being overlooked is who’s going to come in to run and hopefully fix the defense.

I think the top 2 candidates are Riley and Meyer so them bringing in the right guy to coach the defense is critical.
