I love Jane

Few things make a woman more attractive to this football fan (ie, knowing football).

(Of course, as I share that my wife isn't a football fan, that should tell you something about how attractive my wife must be, right?)

C'mon, man. Stop.

DUI. Gets beat up while his teammates watch. Scams kids with fake autographs. The list is endless.

You seem to really hate this man for no damn reason

Also, you singlehandedly said one of the stupidest things I’ve ever read here

Rodgers isn’t a good human being. In fact if you read about his relationship with his family, you wouldn’t be saying that. Not to mention, leaks have come out saying that Rodgers is not a good leader

Dak May be inaccurate, may have terrible footwork at times but his teammates love him and is perceived to be a great guy

Your hate is almost disgusting

What's it going to be then, eh?

I want a fat coach.
I think he has lost weight though.

The good thing about fat coaches is that they are never satisfied. Same with the drunk ones if they are functional. Trim in shape guys that could probably be an emergency QB like Garrett, not so good

If you really think about it, a lot of fat coaches tend to be successful...
I need a stat on that.

I want a fat coach.

Besides fat coaches don't over-exert themselves with excessive clapping and butt-slapping. They will get tired too easily. So that's a big, big plus ( no pun intended).

would love to be in the meeting when McCarthy interviews....to watch the Jones' when McCarthy talks about an analytics dept and hiring 2 "futures" coaches...one on offense/one on defense...whose whole job will be to study formations....plays...what works...what doesnt...similar to what saban has at Alabama with his "coach anslysts".
smart on McCarthy to do that.
will Jerry go for it,tho.

I figured Marvin Lewis would get an interview. He was my first thought when it started looking like Garrett was toast. I said to myself "They'll take a look at Marvin Lewis". Why? Because he is Garrett 2.0; only without a playoff win. He might not get the job. But it just makes sense Jerry would give him a look and it does satisfy the Rooney rule. And hopefully that's all this one winds up being.

Mike McCarthy? He's had a lot of success. Not too terribly old at 56. So I wouldn't be mad over him being the guy. A very solid coach and a safe call to make.

The problem with both these guys is they have been around the NFL for a long, long time. Neither are up and coming. More like been there done that. And the rest of the league knows them and their tendencies very well. So it gives me cause for pause relative to just how far either one could take the Cowboys.

But we'll see. Glad to at least see some names are dropping out there. Looking forward to more.

Well, I'm not sure what happened in GB, but I do know that Rodgers also looked like poo for the last two or three years, as well.
And yet they’re 13-3 because the new coach quickly figured out that Aaron Jones is a stud who needs the ball in his hands as much as possible.

So even with a limited Rodgers, Green Bay is still winning.

McCarthy’s an idiot who held Jones back. That’s why he went 11-20-1 in his final 2 seasons. Awful. Embarrassing.

Every Packers fan I know has been SCREAMING for Jones to get more touches since he entered the league. McCarthy “knew better” though.

Mike going to CASH in while he can and saying YES to Jerry will be an honor and easy money baby!
When you are part of the problem no way you can come up with a solution..JJ and his Son are the root of the issue. It is like asking the criminal to do the investigation .

They also dived into free agency for the first time ever. McCarthy had to stay competitive with rookies to supplement for ARod's salary cap hit.

I don't like the idea of McCarthy. But I dislike it less than some of the alternatives being suggested.

McCarthy is kind of infamous for doing most of the things that fans hate Garrett for (stale scheme, bad game-day decisions, general choking), but he had career peak Aaron Rodgers to bail him out.

Bingo. Sturm said the exact same thing. People are blinded by that one Super Bowl ring.
