And then 10 years of loyalty for it?

I want a team that is well coached on game day. I'd like to win a championship but basing it purely on results is not realistic.

I want a team that is hard to defend not only from a talent standpoint but from a coaching standpoint as well.

I'm worried that this guy who road the coat tails of Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre will only do the same here and he'll do a solid job simply because of the players he has on this roster.
I am taking him at his word. He seems to have been spending an entire year learning more and fixing what he did wrong.

I honestly believe you need to do your research on McCarthy.. He is a way bigger presence on the field and way more involved! He actually can coach smart football and relatable to the players.
The reason he was let go from Green Bay was because he had been there long enough and him and Aron weren't getting on.

Keep in mind also. that Arod wasn't Arod in college so McCarthy deserves credit for helping him evolve. McCarthy is wonderful with Qb's, so I would highly doubt Kitna is going to be of much help anymore.

Garrett is good with QB’s. Aaron Rodgers carried McCarthy. Dak ain’t gonna carry him or anyone else.

Yeah.. And i'm chalking it up as another coach who lies about these things and it's evident once they get another job.

Did you believe the Cowboys every offseason when they told us the offense would be changing?

Did you get hyped up for San Jay Lal?

There is literally a video of him and his team going over film. I doubt he is lying. Considering he is bringing in a 14 man analytics team. I think you have an agenda. Are upset about the hire and are being stubborn about it.

Because focusing on his resume alone is just silly.

Brian Billick won a Super Bowl too.

This guy had possibly the best QB of all time and got fired for his stubborn playcalling and his inability to change.

They are having success without him.

Also, if you watch the Peter King video he basically scoff's at the idea that there was a problem with his offense but he needs to listen to criticism.

Actually, the Packers offensive DVOA under MM's last year ranked higher than their offensive DVOA this season...with that offensive genius LaFleur.

Nah.. I know how these coaches are and I could tell by his response about the criticisms of his offense that he doesn't believe his playcalling and designs were an issue.

Seems more focused on the day to day operations.

Rex Ryan also thinks the analytics thing is BS and just him doing a sell job to get back in the league.

McCarthy is trying to get back in this league and start making millions of dollars again and he found his sucker.

Sorry if already posted. This video is compelling. Let's go!

I mean this guys seem 180 degrees different from Jason Garrett. Love the fact that he is keeping up with the game as opposed to just sitting around.
I wonder what he will think of Dak, as he is not your traditional drop back guy, nor does he have great footwork, etc. The great part is that he is 100% coachable and should be dedicated.
The only thing I dont like is how orchestrated this is. I want to know what he feels about culture/ toughness/ accountability. He never really had great defenses in GB and game management was an issue.

Yeah..

Turns out they are still good without McCarthy and the 2 seed in the playoffs. They don't need him to be successful. They need Rodgers.

One thing I took from this is the fact the he and Marvin Lewis are good friends.

I still get the feeling Marvin will be on staff as DC, hence the Marvin Lewis interview (Plus it satisfied the Rooney Rule).

It won't happen but Marvin Lewis as DC, Nolan as LB Coach and Kris Richard as Secondary Coach would be an awesome group.

I’m beginning to come around. Hopefully this QB school can help Dak, as he severely needs the help. Now if only we can get a good ST coordinator.
