So the Giants don’t have good players lol?

Not really no.

Their Oline is poor and the book is still out on their QB.

Barkley is a nice player though. Definitely overrated but he can make explosive plays.

Garrett would help the Giants in that he would bring a 50/50 brand of football and when youre that bad being a 50/50 team isn't a bad thing.

It's when you have a really good team and your're still playing that 50/50 brand of football that gets annoying.

Well that’s what I’m saying. That’s a upgrade over Shurmur. I think they can do some things with Engram, Barkley, Slayton and Tate. Then with their draft pick they can go offensive line or wide receiver. A decent foundation. If they can somehow commit to improving the interior of that offensive line they should see a major improvement.

Good , now he can show the Giants how to manage the clock , freeze the kicker , always lose a challenge , always run up the middle on first down and slap some Giant butts and looking like a stiff on the sidelines. But , remember , it's a process that will take at least 10 years .

Umm yeah the GM usually interviews as well. Nice backtrack.
And McCarthy comes here a proven SB winning coach. Garrett agreed to be hired as a neophyte in training and did nothing to earn what McCarthy has.
There's a reason teams did not line up for Garrett, if they thought he was capable without Jerry's handcuffs they would have.
If anything Jerry gave way too much authority and credence to Garrett. Heck gave him teams loaded with talent so cry the blues for him all you want he sucks and the league knows it.

I'm not crying the blues. I just said "To be fair.................yada yada." That's the problem with these boards sometimes. If you had head the tone of my voice, you wouldn't have taken my original statement the way you did.

Oh well. Moving on.
