Belichick and Brady could make Cowboys instant SB contenders

You defended Garrett as if he was doing a great job. It was pathetic and ridiculous. You looked foolish doing it then and you look foolish now.
Admit you were wrong and be a man.
Again you haven’t grasped my angle of support for Jason as the perfect puppet for Jerry. It revolved around believing we didn’t have other choices.

As usual you rely on attempting to discredit the messenger with personal attacks and insults which suggest troll like behavior.

I have been discussing this for 25 years and over 12 years on these forums. You’ve only been following the last year so you still haven’t grasped my angle in all of this.

EXACTLY. LOL

Do don't bring up the argument with me that I was finally right after 25 years. It sounds dumb seeing as though we have only been doing it for 5 years tops on here.

If you continue to say dumb things, then you have to expect to be called out on it.

You supported Garrett, end of story. He failed and therefore your support, for whatever dumb reason you thought, was misplaced.

And low and behold, your reason for supporting him, was just proven dead wrong with the hiring of McCarthy. The anti-Garrett, the NON puppet hire. Already being given full autonomy to pick his coaching staff.

McCarthy is the EXACT type of coach I told you was needed here and would work AGAIN. A guy Jerry trusts and has "Jerry's ear".

Which again, you wrongly claimed that Garrett had. Which he did not. Another wrong way claim you argued for many years.

McCarthy is here to FIX the broken culture that you claimed was so great here and that Garrett nurtured while he was here. ANOTHER silly claim now proven to be way off base.

I think the only think you have ever said that made any sense on here is that Jerry is at fault overall. Which the entire fan base has been saying forever. Congrats, you got the most obvious thing right. LOL

And the laughable part is you actually brag about it when cornered as if you invented that thought all on your own. Hilarious!!!

Look, another Garrett lover. He failed, your love was misplaced, and a real coach has been hired.

don’t make excuse, just admit you were dead wrong about all of it. It’s not like people like me didn’t tell you over and over again.

I'm sure there are plenty of Posts where I have said that Garrett needs to go. I think 10 years has been way too long. The closest you probably can find of me supporting Garrett in comments would be I have said once it doesn't matter who the puppet is if the next coach is a puppet too, he'll just be a puppet with a different name. I rather have a non-puppet hire any day of the week. As far as any of these puppet coaches go, you really can't tell if they could've been a good coach or not if they had full control and the system was setup to where people respect the coach.

Hey what'cha expect in a thread where you talk about dreaming of the possibility of having Belichick coach here, and then being accused of being a Garrett lover.

There you go again supporting Garrett in the end of your post. Garrett sucked and it was painfully obvious. His game plans or lack there of, his horrid in game management, clock management, lack of adjustments, ect….ect…. had NOTHING to do with Jerry Jones. He was simply just bad at his job. And THANK YOU Jerry for finally stripping him of play calling. He was bad at it.

We all watched Garrett bumble as he "learned on the job". Garrett didn't have an issue with respect. It was his abilities as a coach mostly on game day and preparation. And certainly most of his teams underperformed.

I am sure you will see the difference immediately this year and certainly in the 2nd year with MM.

I supported Garrett because I didn’t have faith there was a better option. I maintained for years I’d fire him if I believed Jerry would hire a legit HC and get out of the way.

You have continued to misinterpret my support of Garrett because I took on the Lynch Mob and defended him. But I had always left this exception in play.

I personally liked Garrett because of his Cowboy history and if we were going to be stuck with Puppets he was one I could tolerate. And I did feel he was influencing Jerry in building a better team and culture here. I’d argued prob the best since Parcells brief tenure.

Garrett just couldn’t ever get over the hump breaking thru to a championship game or he’d still be here. Fat Mikey won’t survive if he doesn’t either.

Im pleased the public pressure finally caved in on Jerry and he was forced to bring in an experienced HC. I wasn’t pleased how it went down but it’s time to move on. But that was Jerry’s doing with his toxic atmosphere . I enjoyed how painful it was for Jerry.

And I’m not sold Jerry won’t interfere and meddle much like he did with Bill which deterred better results there. But at least he’s made some concessions, for now. 25 years has exhausted my hope. This decision hasn’t revived it. Only the results can.

I’ll wait to see the results before giving any final applause . But my reference to the last 25 years is in reference to my lost hope. And I’m still without much hope things are going to drastically change in how our organization is run and the results thereof. Fat Mikey will most likely struggle with Jerry’s ways as well at some point.

We are more doomed because of Jerry than Jason and our long list of HC this generation.

I only put part of your quote because that's what I want to comment on, not getting in the middle of the "you supported Jason" discussion. ;)

Like you, I'm not overly thrilled with the McCarthy hiring, though obviously it was time to get rid of Garrett, just didn't have the results I wanted.
And I have to agree it doesn't seem at all likely Jerry will back off entirely, or even mostly, from his meddling. He's too old, too long as the owner/gm, leopards don't change their spots, as the saying goes. Though the hiring of the various coaches would indicate Jerry has let to the reins at least somewhat.

And 1000% agree NOTHING will greatly change my attitude about my team without results. I seem to remember how happy everyone was to get rid of "coach cupcake", yet here we are 10 years later, with only limited more success than Phillips. Now most everybody is thrilled to have gotten rid of "the clapper"/"the puppet", but first of all NO head coach in over 50 Super Bowls has won one with two different teams, if McCarthy does it will be history, and history isn't always easily made.

I will admit to feeling somewhat better now than the last few years, if for no other reason than we're seeing a much bigger change than before, lots of new coaches, and a younger team that seems to have a lot of potential. The last 5 years or so it's been minor changes, and even those, like the Kiffin and Marinelli hires (for gosh sakes, Marinelli was 0-16 one year, even though that was as head coach and he wasn't head coach at Dallas, but I digress), has beens hired 20 years too late.

My better feelings are tempered by not only the no repeat SB winning coaches, but also because historically SB winning coaches do so early in their careers, just for examples Sean Payton, Don Shula, even our own beloved Tom Landry , take away the first 5 years to build the expansion team, and all his SB appearances came in the next 12 years, none thereafter. There are lots of other examples, a few that are the opposite, but you can look it up. McCarthy won his SB in his 5th year, 8 years after he was fired. Now he's not that far removed from that, and in only his now 14th year, maybe he still has time.

I'll watch, as always, but to say I'm feeling another title or two or three is "imminent" is pretty far from the truth...

I hear ya!

It’s like some fans will be more satisfied if the Mediocrity and disappointment continue as long we have a proven HC. Lol

You are a liar. You loved Garrett because you thought he was doing a great job. No sense in backtracking now. Lol

Yes, a good job for a Puppet. Not sure why you were never able to separate ?

You apparently assumed because I liked and defended Garrett I thought he was a great HC. And not just a great Puppet. You obviously didn’t read all of my post.

No, you are just a pathological liar. Your "I only liked him because he was my favorite puppet" nonsense is simply a cover for your love for him.

You loved Garrett and defended him day in and day out on here for 10 years. Then at the end you try to curb your angle as to avoid being laughed at. LOL

And how many fans to you see running around saying...………"I only liked him because he was a great puppet"? LOL

It sounds completely dumb. Who says that?

Your just not man enough to admit you were dead wrong.

Liar, small man, dead wrong. That about sums you up on the Garrett front.

I defended him cause I enjoyed the argument.

I thought he was the perfect puppet not a great HC. I maintain you misinterpret my support of Garrett.

I guess you enjoy looking like you don't know football or coaching.

There is no such thing as the perfect puppet. LOL You should have learned that after what a fool Garrett made out of you.

I created the phrase. Out of frustration and lack of hope.

I’m proud of the arguments I presented of Garrett. He was my favorite puppet. It passed 10 years pretty well. I felt like he needed someone to defend him. Lol

I dont really care what anyone thinks. I embrace the battle.

Getting it all wrong and looking like you know nothing about football is nothing to be proud of. But some people actually don't mind making others laugh. Maybe that's a good way to think of you. The village clown.

Of course. Personal insults now like the other trolls.

If you think my claims have been so ridiculous you sure spend much effort responding to them.

Jerry finally hired another Legit HC after all of these years even going against his own wishes proves you to be brilliant. Lol

You're entire agenda was to fire Garrett. Beyond that no one knew what would transpire.
