Lol.
Deion might be the greatest player

No you can look him up. 1952-1965 the years he played says it all. You can’t even compare players from the 50-60’s to a modern athlete like Deion.

By that line of thinking, Deion can’t be compared to Hill from the Chiefs, or that QB from the Ravens. Dan Marino and Fran Tarkenton and Staubach are all jokes compared to Mahome Boy, right?

Come on now......Jim's got two SB wins from a prominent team of his decade. The story of the NFL can't be told without the Raider's. Man deserves respect

Plunkett just wasn't that good. Not everyone on a winning SB roster gets a ring, even if they've been there twice.

It's not disrespecting a guy to say he doesn't belong in the HOF.

Of course. However, the HOF is based on individual talent and play.

Yes and no.

Impact is another factor.

Joe Namath impacted the game.
Eli Manning impacted the game. Two runs. One taking down unbeaten team. 2nd time for good measure.

Eli will get in first ballot.

Man when it comes to Deion here you will find some of the worst and mind boggling opinions. I’ve always felt that way. I don’t know why he triggers some here.

It’s his cockiness and swag that rubs people the wrong way I think. Allot fans love their stars to be more humble.

Not me, Deion is one of my favorite athletes of all time. I Love the cockiness, the swag and the BS. Its all good when you can backup, and he did.

The league gets older, more players play longer, and more teams than 50 years ago. Kind of seems natural. Unless they're going to start removing players from the HoF, it seems like the number of players who make the cut is always going to increase.

Even in 2020? He’s far more humble in compared to what he was. Hell I think Deion as a athlete was underrated. He did what Bo’s body wouldn’t allow.

1)I didn’t bring up Dick Lane
2)Me, a troll? That’s hilarious! Either you don’t know what the word means, or you can’t handle a different opinion. Which is it?

I’m referring to his brassiness in his playing career. The Pizza Hut commercials and his load talk to the media. Allot of these guys are older guys that still remember the Roger Staubachs and Tony Dorsetts. They believe in the “players are to be seen not heard” theory.

Good point. I guess that age group would still be bitter.

Deion Sanders...

A one-dimensional CB, who shamelessly leeched himself onto whichever team was trending up and who was his own biggest promoter.

Definitely one too many.

Was the dimension shutting down half the field?
