Afternoon Pops and everyone.

I did not watch the game. Actually spent most of the weekend not feeling well so Idk where the weekend actually went.

Typical Monday at work...which means I'm watching the clock hoping it speeds up a bit.

Hope everyone has an uneventful day, and if it must be eventful, that it rolls in your favor.

Morning pops.
Well, there they were right in plain sight. I didn't have to search the house or contemplate and put the pieces back together from the night before. If my pants were this easy to find, last night must not have been that big a party.

Morning Pops and friends.

It's Tuesday, which is Monday for me this week, since I took yesterday off. I did that because I was supposed to meet a friend to watch the game together on Sunday night. Sadly, he got the flu, and I had to entertain all the Hooters girls by myself. Que sera, sera.

CC, I don't know what you didn't like about the game. Sure, SF got away from the running game, which was their strength (sounds vaguely familiar) but if they'd run more, they probably would have won...and who wants that?

Runny, I thought it was sloppy with poor execution but it is indicative of what the NFL has become. There are no great teams, not even close at this point.

The Niners showed what happens when a team can't count on it's one dimensional offense and the Chiefs showed what a team with a Tier 1 QB can do when he's not getting a lot of help except from his WR that was wide open most of the game. For such a vaunted D, SF's secondary is sadly lacking when their front line plays an ordinary game.

On the high side, with a couple of tweaks here and there, the Cowboys can compete with any NFC team because there isn't one even borderline great.

Good morning Pops and Zoner Friends,

Happy Tuesday from snowbound Colorado where we have already reached our daytime high of 7 F. We have been snow-blowing since sunrise and have only just now cleared the drive way... And, there is more snow forecast for later today. I am not complaining as I got a pretty good workout this morning .

What to do about Dak and his contract? I have to admit that my personal view has swung from sign him at all costs to.. well, meh. In fact, I am leaning toward the franchise tag along with signing or drafting another QB.

We are headed to Missoula, Montana in a couple of weeks - we've never been and are quite keen to see the area. Any of you been to Missoula? Any suggestions?

Have a good week and stay warm!!

Yes, I've been to several cities in Montana and my best suggestion, go in the summer.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to all of you, who have stopped in to visit today.

Well, Tuesday and I've got the Boy today. He is watching Sing and eating a Banana. I am sitting, drinking a cup of Coffee and trying to do a little work while he is entertained.

What is everybody up to today? I feel like it's been forever since I've posted. I honestly don't know why?

On this day in 1864, J.W. Goodrich introduced the first pair of rubber galoshes to the public. On that note, it has started snowing here.......

I hope you are all good today, seems like a heck of a good day for Soup. I wonder if I can throw something together?

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, I hope you are all having a great day today. If not, keep plugging away. It's bound to change!

Everybody, have a great, great day!

Peace.....

Morning, Pops and everyone. Happy hump day! I cooked up a sausage pepper Parmesan dish over pasta last night. It was pretty good. My Mother in law didn't feel too good all day yesterday (yes, even before eating my cooking). I hope she's better today. Y'all have a great day.

I am sure after eating your creation she was instantly starting to feel better. Yes, I am being nice. You spoiled my vibe with that (yes, even before eating my cooking). So many ways for one to go including Mama-in-law jokes but since the poor dear is under the weather, I shall refrain.

Leon, please let me know when she is feeling better and I'll let the old girl have it with both barrels. Hope she is feeling better, I never got the mother-in-law thing, mine was like a second Mom as my Mom was to my wife and I adored my father-in-law. He was the father I wish I'd had growing up.

Morning Pops and you little happy humpsters. I hope your weather is good, it's overcast and cold here with that heavy air wet blanket cold that goes to your very bones. However, it will be back to 72 by Friday and perfect golf weather. As I don't play golf, I shall afford myself of all the opportunities a day like that gives one in February, usually the nastiest month down here.

I think I'll have my first fire in the frpl (that's real estate talk for fireplace) tonight, kick back with a tini and crank up some Franker. It is forbidden to listen to Sinatra without a martini. I pretend I am a Rat Packer but since I live alone, I put one dog in each chair beside me and impress and regale them with my stories. I'll have to put them up while I load the frpl, they hide when they see me doing that. If we lived up north and had a fire all the time, I think they'd put themselves up for adoption. I caught one of them trying to pass a note to the vet last time we were there, I'll have to keep a closer eye on them. If I am facing them, I don't know which eye is my closer eye so I have to be at an angle.

Make it a good day or stay in bed, no compromise.

Lots of stuff going on today but wanted to take in the early morning with a cup of coffee and some Biscuits and honey butter. Was pretty good!

How is everybody doing today? We got Wednesday so we get through this and then we are on the weekend glide path!

My mother-in-law was the one who taught my ex how to babble for hours at a time...and I don't think she was done teaching her by the time we split up.

That's a pretty dark painting, if it's a Norman Rockwell. Looks like his style, almost.

Good morning Pops and friends. I had a first Monday, it was my first complete sentence filled with cuss words. I'm not proud of it, but three cars in front of me chose to operate their vehicles like 100% bass hats. It had been sprinkling, the roads were freshly wet, I have ABS, had spent time sitting in traffic due to a wreck and just wanted to get home. The first car changed into the turning lane a little before they should, but that wasn't a problem. The car behind them changed lanes way before they were supposed to and stopped with Chevy in both lanes. The vehicle in front of me was tall and I couldn't see over it to know what they were doing. It stopped to keep from hitting the bass car instead of swerving around it. I slammed my brakes on and wasn't sure if I could stop before hitting something. Once my car was stopped with two feet between me and the vehicle in front of me, I unleashed a string of words and this time Chevy was a noun meaning someone with complete lack of sense, ignorant as H E you get the idea and brand of unbearable commercials. Tuesday was just a lesson in futility.

This is so wonderful! Thank you for the picture, ABQ. I could study it for a long time. It looks like Gordon Ramsey warming his hands. The humor of the chalk outline on a dank, cold floor with a whole and a broken cracker. The funny/sad image of someone warming their hands on a painting. The highlights forcing us to suspend belief that it's only a painting. The play of colors on his palate with a box full of paint. His lunch over by his coat. Just everything about it.

It's cold here and I've got to get ready to head out. Have a good Wednesday everyone.
