The very post you quoted is the very game you need to refresh yourself on. He did himself no favors, don't blame the media on this one. Watch that game! There's your video.

The "passion" excuse id awfully lame.

I was a huge fan until then and never was convinced of JG's scheme. But that doesn't change his actions and the fact that he's not played a snapped under another head coach.

Well, he was going to play snaps under Payton till he tore his Achilles.

Sadly....Father time 1.....Dez Bryant 0 ....and still the undefeated champion of all time....

He’s only 31, younger than Antonio Brown. I think we’re crazy if we don’t give him a chance. Dez that is, hell no to AB.

What bad habits and who  see, more made up bull**** from you
Make belief is fun isn't. You poor ignorant sap. If you want to pretend Dez wasn't cancer on the roster, that's fine with me. Have fun in your fantasy land. lol

I don’t know if we are talking about the same game. But when the nfl films mic was released it showed how wrong the media narrative was. Look it up. He was being positive and trying to encourage his teammates to believe in themselves.

what’s horrible about fans is this. Amari Cooper is considered a bum around here for remaining silent when pulled from the eagles game.

the reality is fans don’t know how to deal with loss. They take a loss and need a person to vilify. This is what happened to both Dez and Cooper.
I wouldn't put too much into an edited TV show. I'm talking about watching the game in it's entirety. He pouted on the bench, whined and cried he wasn't getting targets and when he did get a pass he was a moron and lost a fumble after a catch. Then, he volley-balled a basic catch that was intercepted. There are countless examples where an above average DB got in his head and he failed to keep his head on straight. Instead of making a play while the clock is still running, he's throwing tantrums and jawing with opposing players.
I'm not talking about the media or other fans, I'm talking about what I witnessed in real time with my own eyes.

Let’s give him a tryout. Mostly new staff maybe what he needed. He is saying the right thing and I think has been humbled by injury and works hard. No longer about the money. Let’s face it sometimes Dak can throw a little high. Dads can go up and get it. And he is a beast to tackle.

Go Dez.

I believe you could be Comeback Player of the Year if you get on the field.

I believe Dallas at least owes you a tryout if only to decide your status. If it is not for them
..then for some other team to evaluate.

As our greatest WR in history, you are owed that.

You guys with your Dez hate make no sense to me. If you want to hate Dez,fine. But remember Jerrah loves him.

Don't be surprised if Dallas does give Dez a closed secret workout to make their own decision.

We'll see.
Easy with the best WR we ever had. Im a Dez guy but their were 2 number 88 before him and Pearson for his time and Irvin period were both better than Dez.

Oh.. your own eyes can hear what Dez is saying on the sidelines? Impressive.

Or you can do a quick youtube search of Dez vs Lions and listen to the actual audio and use the part of your person that was created to HEAR.

But whatever dude. Its clear like most people even when faced with evidence they were wrong would rather move the goalpost or close their eyes and hold their breath.

How old is he 31? I don't think that is too old for a comeback!
He's not getting younger. If he wasn't good enough to be on the roster 2 years ago, he's still not good enough. He wasn't cut for no reason at all, folks.

I was right behind their bench. So yes. You can see & hear quite a lot. I honestly couldn't care less what you think at this point, you have your mind made up from partial YouTube clips and are know being a tool.

I think he will ultimately play for and contribute for some team this year. And it's not hard to see that he would play for the Cowboys for next to nothing. With a head coach and staff that actually have the guts to tell players what's acceptable or not, I have no problem with giving Dez a workout. And if that goes well, an opportunity to play for this team. Any sign of trouble, you cut him.

Dez putting in work trying to make a comeback. I wish he had this same dedication earlier in his career. Imagine how good he could have been if he combined a work ethic with his natural ability.
he let the bright lights take him another way. he always had the talent, just not the mindset.

I like Dez, but "greatest WR in history"? He was third best #88. He might have become the best if he'd put the work in, but he lived on his talent alone.

Dez Bryant the greatest WR in team history? Irvin was immensely better and clutch. For you to say that leads me to believe you never had the pleasure of watching Irvin catch 3rd down catches over the middle, while being crushed, in the biggest games.

If you had seen these many great moments you would understand.

That’s a good point too, but it took Dez a couple years to learn the playbook. Irving and Pearson offered to help him with his route running and Dez was reluctant early in his career. It was also reported that Dez didn’t want to put in time in the gym to work out his lower body.

That’s the problem I have with some of our talented players. It seems they perform good enough for people to claim they are the least of our problems.

Kobe Bryant mentioned he wanted to be thought of as a talented overachiever. He had talent but he worked as if he had none and that made him one of the greatest of all time.

I think Dez had potential to be one of the greatest of all time. Instead we get to say he made a few pro bowls. Apparently that is good enough .

Great post I feel Zeke is another one who could be an all time great but will only put in the minimum of work necessary to maintain .
