Stephen just last week said they had a number that they aren’t moving from and they turned around and signed Dalton this week.

The signing of Dalton was a move for leverage in negotiations.

In all the years we’ve dealt with Jerry Jones. Has he ever used another player as propaganda. Absolutely not. And Steven Jones saying that. Just means we are prepared. Nothing more. So again stop the propaganda it’s ridiculous

When Zeke held out, they could still negotiate into the regular season. They ended up not needing to go that route but that was the rules they were operating under. Those rules no longer exist for Dak. There is no, "IF HE HOLDS OUT". They can't negotiate a new contract after the 15 July deadline so what would he be holding out for? There would be no point in doing so. Not playing football is not in Dak's plans so your point is moot. Again, I apologize for suggesting the Cowboys could play games without him due to holdout, that's just not a possibility. He will sign something by 15 July.

Ok you’re right.. Dalton was a standard signing and gives them no leverage in negotiations.

Come on my cowboy brother. Dalton can’t make the outside throw two week of an arm and it floats same thing with his deep ball. The only thing he can do is read a defense. I wonder how many times he’s been intercepted on the outside

If all we had was Cooper Rush then we are completely held hostage.

So like I said there’s no propaganda about it we still want Prescott here. And he will be when it’s all said and done I’m not worried about it. Goodbye Cooper rush we have Dalton for a back up and I think the rookie will beat him

skip is right. jerry seems to have had enough of the waiting on Dak. MM and team showed him options including Dalton . Jerry is not about to ruin the season waiting on an entitled, unappreciative foolish QB and his agent. Apparently the agent is not returning calls from stephen as well. If you are the owner of the most valuable franchise in sports, approaching 80 years in age, 25 years without a SB , and you are excited about the draft and the new coaching staff , the last thing you need is a QB like Dak ruining the season .
