I do believe Pollard will be given more opportunities to contribute to moving the chains. That's something that he seems more than likely to provide in the ongoing future. Of course, there'll be lots of other receivers for Dak to spread the ball around to, also. I'd say he'll do his share. As far as being a "game changer," this offense has any number of players capable of doing that. There seems to be more of them than in quite a while. :)

The way he ended the season, especially that Rams game, just showed what he is capable of.

If Elliot goes down, the offense will not miss a beat.

He may not have the power Zeke has, but he's got break away speed and will be burning opposing defenses. *4 fire emojis*

Just like Rico TE was supposed to be.
Thank the heavens we got Zeke back there or we wouldn't score a single TD as experienced for 15 Quarters of str8 offense when he was out for 6 games!!!!!!

Haters.... every player has them.

Pollard definitely needs to be more involved. Would like to see more formations with both Zeke and Pollard in the game. Need to see Pollard in the passing game more.

I'm with you on that one. I would like them to play some play-action with Pollard lining up and playing slot receiver.

I like him. Liked that early play where the turned it wide and just beat the defense to the edge. Don't get a lot of that from Zeke. I see defenders coming up short in trying to cut him off. He stays on his feet. Great contact balance.

My hope was that he would be the central 5th man on offense as a guy in motion behind the line, giving a credible run threat in addition to Zeke. Seems unlikely now. I expect us to go 3WR as our base with Lamb.

But we could go all threat with Zeke, Pollard, Lamb, Gallup, Cooper. Lots of speed and yac there.

If by game changer you mean change of pace back; then yes.

but let’s not kid ourselves; the game changer running the ball is zeke.
We would like to think so. But it really hasn’t been that way.

Pollard definitely needs to get involved in the offense more. Great change of pace however he is nowhere near the workhorse Zeke is.
I’ll take Him over Elliot. He doesn’t take himself out of the game when we need him most. He doesn’t put the ball on the ground as often. And he knows how to get in the end zone. The only thing Elliot good for is banging out yards

Good combo with Elliot, but Pollard needs to hold on to the ball..

I actually think Elliot but it’s the ball on the ground more. He’s been lucky to get them back
I am sure he has. I was only thinking of the Pollard fumble in the egirls game. We had a good drive going and was getting the run going. Elliot tapped out and Pollard fumbles, that pretty much took the steam out of us. Whole team played uninspired but a TD in that drive would have gave us some momentum. But if we win and make the playoffs and we could still have JG as HC. Maybe Pollard did us a favor. Lol.

Pollard is a very capable player and I think proved he can handle higher volume.

But he won't scare anyone in short yardage or goal2go situations. Zeke carries the mail for this club until he cannot.

I think Mac might implement a few full house or h-back looks that will give defenses pause. Look for more pitch plays and edge runs for #20 this season. Tony can do real damage in space.

pollard will be used as a swiss army knife, as he properly should be. I see him lined up at RB/WR..special teams. It would be foolish not to utilize him. Most versatile player we have on Offense outside of Dak.

I love having Pollard on the team and think he will be an important part of this team. All I ask of any player who is getting snaps is go out and help this team win. This is not a Zeke vs Pollard situation , they are members of the same team and their jobs are to make plays to help this team win.
